If there is any silver lining to the last 20 years its shown me that I shouldn't be more loyal to something than the people in charge of its curation or creation, if they are fine with turning it into a flaming pile of shit shrugs to me Dr Who ended in 2017 much like Firefly ended after one season and a movie, the fact that they are making some new bullshit, not interested, it wont be Firefly, this shit wasn't Dr Who.

That he's willing to even listen to those who didn't enjoy his work or the show he was in for whatever reason, and acknowledge that the production serves them as well as those who love it, speaks volumes to his character. It's refreshing to hear, and even if there are numerous things I may disagree with him on, I appreciate that he's not just willing to dismiss his detractors.

@ebk5474Doctor Who series has been doing poorly even before all this. The writing of the season before the female doctor was mid at best. Honestly they could salvage the series with the female doctor with proper writing but of course the couldn't and it got worse. If all this woke nonsense didn't happen it would cancelled regardless. You can't make a good show with awful writing.

Minority status is defined by social power and subordination, not merely population size.
Therefore if everyone is bending backwards for this 3% and doing everything to please and appeal to this 3% at what point do they stop being a minority? Because by definition they aren't really a minority anymore.
