Honestly, after experimenting with AI music for a while, I’ve learned that the best results come when you don’t rush it. Take time to understand how the beat, mood, and words work together. AI is just a tool, the feeling and meaning still come from you. This app is one of my favourites so far

But if AI borrows from artists work without permission, then Suno doesn’t have the rights to that in the first place, surely that’s where the waters get muddy

Before Suno ,I faced the blank page and it seemed it would not go .Then I discovered Suno , Udio and others .I started with the free version 3.5 in Suno and it provided me with ideas for melodies and all the stuff I grew up with.Then I suscribed for the pro plan .Then with stems and studio later I was able to weak the generation according to what I needed. The last step was exporting generations I was satisfied with and recorded and mastered them in my DAW ( I use Logic Pro). The final output turns then to be entirely mine as if someone gave me table,a chair or whatever and I rearranged in my own .Just make sure the guy never notices the changes though it is still his chair if you follow what wi mean.Out of thousands of generation ,very few made it to my DAW.I don’t know if what I'm doing is legit,you tell me. I used Suno to polish the songs on my newest album. I don't think I will do it again because it's just not worth the social stigma within the music community. And for me, using Suno was an artistic choice, and I gotta say - MY GOD, compared to 100 hours in the studio, Suno took away so much needless pain. I will never understand why so many artists want art to hurt. BEFORE I used Suno, I made sure that my source materiel was well protected. Meaning, I produced the songs first, got my legal ducks in a row, and then used Suno to polish. Safe and Sound. Although something changed in Suno recently. A few days ago, I uploaded one of my songs for the Suno treatment (I wanted a female vocalist to replace my vocals), and I got a pop-up saying I couldn't proceed because my song was protected. SHIT! Now, I know it was protected by ME, but I did not have this issue a few months ago. It seems that Suno is getting better at protecting art, which is cool.

You can get around the free option ownership problem by remixing the song under the pro plan

ahh ahh ahh I am a real singer and multi instrumentalist I do all my own music and all my own Lyrics BUT ! I am becoming carious about co writing with the AI , I just ordered a new synthesizer I play piano since I was fourteen years old , I want to do total %100 pure room acoustic music I want to play piano guitar and synthesizers I want to sing , I want to write ,, when I feel inspired to do so , I want to also use SUNO Studios ,, I will be doing all three I will find a cave or a great reverb in a large hall way and sing no reverb all natural I will play my guitars my pianos I will use my electronic mic with voice affects ,,I will play my arrangers and my synthesizers I will go in to SUNO and test its AI ability to see just what it can do ,, I will have a Inspiration and I will write all %100 of my Lyrics and my melody and arrange the adlib and harmonies and select the styles and take the same Lyrics and change to a different mix to see the different sound add new interment's and will take my SUNO recordings and play live along with what I sing in SUNO and add more change it even yet again ,, Like a DJ does , Or I will write a Pop song a Country song a Opera song and Gospel song ,, we have arrived in to a new age no one is asking any talented person to stop doing what they do and only use SUNO or related computer recording ,, the finality of it is this ( what does the song sound like does people like it or not ? I am going to do as I have always done and enjoy music and art in every way and if something new is offered I will use it with what I have already to create my art and music I am also going to make videos of real people and also generate ai art and then use my creations in to videos ,, and add my music to the videos , I would like to in time make movies short films ,, art music let it be a growing thing and allow artist with all their talents create as they will and I do not mind for SUNO to train its systems on anything I record in SUNO ,,I just dont want Communist dampening and control of the freedom of the arts and growth and developments and the Joys its gives to the artist and the people who enjoy the art the artist makes ,,,

Exactly! It has to have human input and be a PRO paid account. You can't copyright pure AI that a computer generated via prompt. Suno let's you use it for commercial purposes and copyright but they can use your work for promotional purposes, etc. if you created it on their platform. They have never claimed anything I created on their website since last May, 2025.

This mixes up ownership, copyright, and licensing. On paid plans Suno states users own the output and have commercial rights. Suno keeping a broad non exclusive license does not mean they own your music, that’s standard platform language. The claim that AI music can’t be copyrighted unless you upload voice notes is also wrong, copyright depends on human authorship and creative control like lyrics, arrangement, and editing. Ownership and copyright are not the same thing. The wording confusion came from misunderstanding licenses, not Suno taking rights. Also the Nvidia investment line is just FOMO marketing. Big companies invest in platforms all the time and that doesn’t change creator rights or make this “now or never.” Learning new tech is fine, but urgency and name dropping aren’t legal arguments.
