I had an ever growing comment about what he didn't understand/was getting wrong, but it was getting long and I was getting tired, suffice to say, he should have gotten an old user to help him make this instead of interpreting them himself. Some general advice though...
1 - This is a /b/ circle-jerk, it was never meant to be some serious blanket "rules of the internet" despite the title, which is why so much of the early stuff is about /b/. "Rules of /b/" would be a more accurate title, but in the early internet a lot of it applied to the internet as a whole.
2 - The rules after 36 are apocryphal, which is why they seem more modern and/or a bit hyper-specific, it was literally just randoms adding stuff on. For example the pony art rule was just bronies adding their own stuff in after the fact.
3 - As should be obvious, there are quite a few rules that are products of their time, but some of the ones written off as products of their time have been misinterpreted here and are more relevant than he thinks still.
Also just wanted to say the interpretations of 33, 62, and 72 were embarrassing.

@ItsNerdyVoid"There are no women on the internet" and "every kid is an undercover cop" are obviously not true, but it's good to operate under that assumption. We'd probably be better off for it. I always saw them as facetious. As in, "this is obviously not true, but we'd be better off acting like it is."
