This newsreel seems to document the third Battle of Kharkov fought mid-Feb to mid-March, right after the Germans defeat at Stalingrad in January 1943. The forces led by Field Marshall Manstein led this attack which resulted in the city being Re occupied by the Germans.

Two interesting read into the 1st part of the Heldengedenktag: General Guderian came out of the dismissal and was employed; marshal von Bock chatting with Adjutant Rudolf Schmundt in the background as the Boss was shaking hands with the wheelchaired soldiers. They were talking about von Bock’s dismissal in July 1942 just before Stalingrad. That is a turning point of the campaign.

1:20 von Bock is present in 1943. Hitler dismissed him in July, 1942

I was happy to see this piece of history - for what it is - a piece of history. I am not happy to see comments in any way connected to the the Nazis. You fuckers can stay in your hobbit-hole all your life, please. This is an educational piece of history. It shows us what humanity can go to.
