It sounds expensive. My hearing aids drastically reduce my screaming tinnitus so I will continue using them.

Again. Out of 191 persons, 87.8%!! Again just a part of that one person…. This is utter BS. Has nothing to do with science at all. The math is almost pre school level!

Tinnitus distress causes most if not all of the suffering, ironically this causes you to notice it much more. I think most people have it, but it develops slowly and the brain finds it so boring that it tends to ignore it. I forget I have it much of the time. I'd say it goes anywhere from 7 to 4 on a 1-10 scale, when I do notice it. If your desperate, notice how it tends to disappear when your scared of something else. That'll show you your brain can increasingly ignore it. Jullian Cowan Hill is a good person to start with. Don't try to cure it, you want your brain to become bored with it.

That helps reduce tinnitus.. in 2-monts: Translate the teceipt grom greek to english:

Take 1 kilogram of honey and divide it into two equal parts (500 g each).

Take 300 grams of almonds and 300 grams of walnuts. Grind them together into a fine powder.

Add half of this almond and walnut powder to one of the 500 g portions of honey.

Next, grate 2 cloves of ginger. Add 1 teaspoon of turmeric and 1 teaspoon of chia seeds. Mix these three ingredients with a small amount of water to form a paste. Then add 1 to 1½ tablespoons of this paste to the 500 g honey mixture and stir well.

In the morning, heat some water and add 1 to 1½ tablespoons of the honey mixture to a glass of the warm water. Stir and drink it.

Two hours later, eat 2 boiled eggs and 1 banana.

Later, around 12:00 noon, you can drink a smoothie made with:

Orange
Apple
Kiwi
Strawberries
Avocado

Add 1 teaspoon of the ginger, turmeric, and chia mixture (the powder/paste you prepared) to the smoothie.

Just sharing my personal experience, i was going crazy over the T sounds that suddenly appeared 2 years ago and i think it’s because of antibiotics overdose. Then after sometimes i tried to pull my self together by living a healthy life style including routine exercises (weight lifting and cardio). About 3 months ago i tried this so called peptides injection for my body recomp purpose (at this point i was already getting used to the T sounds that’s quite ignorable but annoying when i pay attention to it); so i used Retatrutide, Mots-C, Ghk-Cu and NAD+. And guess what, my T sounds suddenly dropped down to 0.5 after 3 months use of peptides , but if i have to guess the peptides contributing to my better conditions are Mots-C and NAD+ , as they are related with mitochondria signaling and dna repair. Maybe retatrutide helped abit since i loss quite abit of fat too. But this is not medical advise. I only enjoyed these past 7 days of 0.5 T sounds which is almost non existent to me šŸŽ‰šŸŽ‰šŸŽ‰

What’s interesting is that a lot of people focus on ā€œgetting rid of the soundā€.

But what actually made a difference for us was reducing the contrast with silence during the day — not just at night.

Once you stop chasing silence and focus on how your brain reacts, things tend to improve more than expected.

@TinnitusReliefApp

Tinnitus can definitely feel worse during stress or when you’re in a very quiet environment. The brain tends to amplify internal sounds when it becomes hyper-focused on them, which is why many people notice it more at night or during spikes.

Friends, Tinnitus can be managed easily. Last month I experienced a continuous hissing sound in my left ear. I could not sleep that night and tried to find the cause on internet. In my case I narrowed down to five causes, Age-- as I am 62 years old, Neck muscle strain--- as I play golf regularly, Ear buds --- as I used them regularly to clear wax, Painkillers--- as I take two tabs in a month which may not be a strong dose but enough to trigger and lastly Stress--- as I had a death in the family. Same day I promptly went to ENT specialist for examination. To my great relief my ears are healthy. Doctor prescribed Caroverine capsules for two weeks, Vitamin D3 and B12 suppliments to make up for the deficiency. This is as far as the medical conditions are concerned which need to be attended to ASAP.
Now the most important issue is how to manage the phantom noise in the ear or brain. That night I tried the masking music full night and it worked. But I did not want to depend on it for ever.
I thought differently.
If this hissing sound is going to be my companion 24Ɨ7, then trying to get rid of it wasn't the right thing. I decided to befriend it and make use of it by making it the only background sound in my meditation sessions which I practice daily. Now it is no more a distressing noise that keeps me awake but a focussing tool in meditation. Medical treatment has lowered the stress level with a feel of well being. Befriending the hissing noise has calmed my mind. By fighting and trying to get rid of the noise we make it stronger and more annoying. So, don't fight the noise and crave for the old silent mind. Craving for silence makes it worse. Keep yourself engaged in fruitful work and exercise. During daytime sit in a relaxed position a couple of times for a few minutes, close your eyes and imagine a journey through space with your phantom noise as the only background music. Slowly you will feel the noise less annoying and more as music. Before going to bed meditate again for a few minutes with a friendly attitude towards the noise.
A couple of minutes of meditation is enough to begin with. Hope it gives you relief. Don't panic. No sleeping pills or antidepressants are required. Consult your doctor before taking these pills but I wish after a few sittings you won't even notice the annoying noise. Wish you safe medication and Happy Meditation.

A rough estimate of the availability date of SPI-1005.

The drug SPI-1005 as a treatment for Ménière's disease and tinnitus.

Many people ask when SPI-1005 will be available, and most answers are "I don't know" or pure guesswork. Based on the time it takes for a new drug to reach the market, I've made a so-called educated guess: mid-to-late 2026. Given that it's been in development for over 15 years, I suppose that's not bad (2026 or February 2027).

what if it's not hearing loss but going off medication that caused tinnitus (or caused it to be worse)? Will it go away? Thanks Doctor!
