The extraordinary touching CONCERT FOR GEORGE took place on November 29, 2002 on the occasion of the first anniversary of George Harrison's death in London's Royal Albert Hall. Eric Clapton acted as organizer and musical director and led through the program.

I love the concert for George. It was a great concert. I first listened to it on CD and then I bought the double disc DVD set. What an amazing concert it was and not only is the music great but the songs were performed well specially with Eric Clapton and Paul McCartney doing one of my guitar gently weeps and Paul McCartney doing all things must pass wow what a great concert.

@MrEstevamdesignApril 26th 2026 and I finally after all these years watched this video in it entirety. I'm so glad I did, too. Talk about going back in time. Listening to all these fine musicians really was a fantastic experience for me, because I grew up, listening to many of them. I was so proud to see George's son Dahni performing for his father. Definitely an amazing performance by the whole production. God bless you all, And God bless George Harrison.

Someone also commented on how true Paul’s words were. Are y’all so stupid not to see how uncomfortable that was for the entire tribute on stage when arrogant McCartney pushed Joe off the microphone? Typical Paul. Pushing to the front of the queue. George would have told him to P*** Off.
