@MantikalI can understand wanting to climb and conquer. I can't understand the free solo thing, is it for posterity? How is risking your life more satisfying?

@la1nmfIts NOT a "rock formation" its a ancient petrified tree. Most mountains are either petrified trees or cooked out buildings.
@WyrdoMusicawesome good job
@deanlarsen5437very impressive, well done. There’s always someone somewhere that will take offence at people enjoying themselves.

@rendezvousoneWow, can't imagine that. You both are very brave and tough. I thought you would turn along the way but you'd completed it.
@pokawinkoni1754Going up isn’t the problem it’s the getting down part
@WhoTFisXAY这个应该是一个火山喷口的遗迹,非大树的遗迹。
@rongxiangliu2570:55 …on how this massive tower WAS formed.
@phdtobeNot a rock ! It’s a petrified pre flood tree stump
@firerock1611There's an easy path around the back.
@justinradford4858Its not a rock its a giant tree stump. Duh.
@About46ewoksWhen we went to the tower, I got pictures of a couple of people almost to the top. Made me dizzy
@Hank139So, I find it really odd that they specifically said "It's like climbing on a big cross, we wouldn't do that." But like I don't think I'd find that disrespectful if anyone climbed on a big cross. I'd be concerned for why you'd want to do that because that was a torture method. It's the way my Lord and Savior died but only his cross is sacred. Others died along side him on crosses as well but only HIS was sacred. Now the cross is a symbol of what he did for us. I just think it's weird that they specifically only called out Christians as if athiests, and other religious or non religious people probably also climb this rock. I think singling out Christ's followers is more disrespectful than just a blanket statement of "We would really appreciate it if you didn't climb on this because it's sacred to us." That's my only gripe honestly. Other than that I'm not concerned with whether climbing is banned or not, I'd never personally climb it so it's not pertiant to me.
@GlassbikeVery nice 👍
@NamanWagronThat’s not a rock formation it’s petrified wood look it up
@roberthenry6079If this were in China they have made an elevator on it😅
@thomzeragon3441Crazy question! Can you pay for a chopper to land on top and fly you back down? If yes, I might give this a shot. P.S. Where exactly do you find that "register" once you get there?
@Dan-oj4iq11:30 I physically shat myself
