We loved visitng the city of Cadiz for the beaches, local bars/tavernas, and the beautiful history. We found Cadiz comfortable in relation to tourism, even in late June. We are looking at some other towns in the area, such as Conil and Barbates for our next trip. We try to avoid overtourism and prefer an authentic culture, but we also like the beach. If we only had time to visit one, which might you recommend? Thank you for your wonderful content!

We are going in December to Andalusia. December 16-23. We are planning to spend 2 nights in Granada , 2 in cordoba and 2 in Seville. Planning to drive from Granada to Cadiz via rionda and stay 1 night in Cadiz. Then drive from Cadiz to Seville stopping by I. Arcos de la frontera. Does this make sense. - especially Ronda, Cadiz at that time of the year. We had considered going to Malaga but since going to Seville it didn’t make sense. We will get to Madrid on the 24th. Would you change anything? 😢

Tony, I have happily relied on this and many other videos you have posted for my 23-day trip to Andalucía. They are the best and you are simply a subject matter expert. They are so informative. It was funny to compare your video to the one a cruise ship passenger posted based on their 5 hours in Cadiz for the first time.

Having just done a day trip to Cádiz yesterday, there is definitely a limit to what you can do and spending a few days might have been more relaxing. But thank you for the tips, including where to eat. I visited Casa Manteca and I was very happy with my tortilla de gambarones and other dishes.

My Wife and I will visit Cadiz for 1 day in the middle of June this year(2024)..Can't wait
