Bonnie Plunkett's Words of Wisdom | Mom

Video Overview & Insights

#mom

This show is like Friends, the jokes are so natural and smooth,I laugh every time watching it, are they the same writers?

About:

Les mots du wisdom

— @martalabat3796

Anna Faris and Emmy® winner Allison Janney star in a new comedy from Chuck Lorre (The Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men, Mike & Molly). Anna Faris plays Christy, a single mom whose newly found sobriety has given her the ability to see her life clearly ... and she does not like the view. Now she must try to untangle years of reckless decisions in order to make a better life for her and her kids. But she discovers that just because you want to be a better person doesn't mean it's going to be easy. Everywhere she looks there are challenges: She is trying to stop drinking in wine country, have a healthy romance with her unavailable boss, raise her young son to be a good man despite his father's influence, convince her troubled teenage daughter to make better choices than she did, and -- perhaps the most difficult task -- forgive her estranged mother, Bonnie (Janney), for not giving her any of the tools she needed to handle life in the first place.

Bonnie Plunkett started the series as a borderline sociopath, and ended as a borderline sociopath with a soul.

I missed the children in the show. I don't get how the show started with the son and daughter yet in the end, there's no mention. SMH 🤦🏿

One of the best shows on recovery touched so many important points great acting Bonnie and Christy seemed like mother and daughter plus great guest stars. Took a serious subject somehow made it funny and touching, have watched many times!

It is also frustrating that Violet gets along better with Bonnie than Christy even though she is the reason Christy did not know how to be a mom

When this show first started, I didn’t think it would go past season 1. But it was my source of entertainment when I had covid and binged 8 seasons in 3 days. I love this series, as it showed the harsh side and the recovery and that what works for some doesn’t work for all. Jodi’s death was so sad, she was just becoming sober. Some episodes didn’t need the laugh track

I’ve watched every episode so many times, I have it on in the background now and know the exact episode without ever looking at the screen! 😎
