BAND AID - How the Money is Spent
Hmmm after a performance, Bob was just dilly dalling and saw the music equipment. He was like in his mind FOOK IT, LET'S PLAY IT! AND THE REST IS HISTORY!
In the financial year to 30 November 2024 Band Aid has awarded grants of £3m across 16 projects to date.
His wife left him and his daughter died.....anyone seeing a theme?
Activities in 2024 include:
Provision of life saving medicines and medical supplies
Access to basic healthcare for rural communities
Sir Geldof always an idol for my Father. Even his style.. I was young and start working in early age, to make enough savings.. all I want to take my father to this event. And I did... I have never seen my father happy at all. I am sure he is happy in somewhere 🙏🏼
Strengthening the support of health services in Tigray
Therapeutic food for malnourished children and vulnerable adults
Handsome Bob Geldof! Long life to him! A pleasant, good person and a talented musician! There are fewer and fewer of them
Emergency grain supplies
Drought resistant crops
Horrible.... Embarissing... Wabnt to PUKE seeing this shit......'
Income generating activities and vocational training
Construction of basic housing to support old and vulnerable people
Ur amazing ❤
Construction of emergency shelters for refugees
Provision of clean water and sanitation training across multiple refugee camps in Ethiopia
Tell me why I don't like Geldorf!
Training to prevent gender-based violence in communities
Hygiene and sanitation support for adolescent girls
This is fantastic music forever thanks bob and lennon
Construction of schools and libraries, and provision of classroom furniture
Cash distributions for vulnerable households
I always wonder if Sir Geldof is waiting for the audience to not applaud, but rather be silent after 2:57 verse.....
Rehabilitation of boreholes and wells for schools and communities
School feeding programmes in Tigray to support children returning to education
Bob was the actor in Pink Floyd's movie The Wall.
Sometimes it falls upon a generation to be great.
Now it's Our turn.
This is how we become great again.
Feed the World!
Let them know it's Christmas Time.
Time to be nice to everyone again.
The estimated number of beneficiaries totals more than 350,000 people.
"Thanks for letting me do that." Thank YOU for doing that! One of the greatest songs in rock history.
Money raised from BandAid40 will continue to fund similar activities in Ethiopia and the surrounding countries.
Every times ita times
