Hartman is pretty good fighter. I've seen some of his fights in person. Rarely just outright loses. Always gets a few solid punches in.

I’ll never understand why fight a guy when it’s a clean hit ?

A lot of silly fights after a clean but hard check. Forwards getting up and continuing to play uninjured and not even winded after a good solid check. This is whats wrong with hockey. Too many fights and stupidity for no good reason.

Boston homer announcers would say “its a good hockey play, clean hard hit” even if their guy pulled a knife and shanked someone

I love the fights I love physical play but it's so easy to start a fight now over an innocent clean hit it still causes a fight which is ridiculous. In the 90s you had to really do something shity to get a fight started out of thin air. Now it just requires one guy to fall down from a clean fight. Use the instigator for clean hit fights?

I hate that most of the time a good hard hit leads to a fight. Star or not you get hit when you play. And if stars don't wanna get hit they shouldn't hit.

I don't understand these unnecessary clashes and the referees who just look on. Do they enjoy it? Paid theater for the spectators? How many times their decisions are not even adequate for punishment. For any fight - clearly expulsion until the end of the match or suspension of activity for at least three matches! This does not belong in hockey.
