Bank of America Customized Cash Rewards: https://joshuabutler.cards/BoA-CCR

#1 is the Citi Custom Cash. 5% for car gas! With most people paying less than $500 per month, this is a huge benefit. It does cap at $500 per month. Great for the office worker or construction worker driving to work every day.

#2 Bank of America Cash Rewards card. 3% up to $833.33 per month. With their rewards program and Merrill Edge investing, you can boost it up to 4.5% cashback if you have $50k+ in investments at Merrill Edge. Long-range truck drivers might need add a 2% cashback card since they spend $70k per year on gas.

Not a credit card, but FutureCard gives you 10% back on all EV charging!

Costco Anywhere Visa: https://joshuabutler.cards/CostcoAnywhereVisa

Awesome breakdown! I love the fine print details. I just subscribed! I can't wait to see the more videos you make.

I do have a question. If I earn 5% cash back, are the points you earn on some credit cards separate rewards or are they part of the 5% cash back?

— @TOTALLYAWESOMECARPET

Sam's Club MasterCard: https://joshuabutler.cards/Sams-MC

Citi Custom Cash: https://joshuabutler.cards/CitiCustomCash

It looks like the above mentioned AAA card is not available for Minnesota residents.
Also seems like Abound FCU now provides 5% for Gas and 1% on everything else. No rotating 5%

Verizon Visa: https://joshuabutler.cards/Verizon-Visa

Redstone CU Visa Signature: https://joshuabutler.cards/Redstone

For Redstone Visa, Offer online shows "Earn 30,000 bonus points when you spend $3,000 within the first 90 days. That's a $150 value!". This tells me that points are worth half as much as other point systems. So 5% sounds more like 2.5% and so forth. I don't think I will be moving forward on this one.

I just joined the Abound credit union but applied first the card before joining. After I paid the fee and joined, I hit submit again and now I'm awaiting a response from Abound themselves.Till then, for Gas, I also have the Amex Blue Cash Everyday and the Truist 3/2/1 Visa card with a starting $9000 starting credit limit at 3% cash back on gas and EV charging, 2% cash back on groceries and utilities (up to the combined $1,000 monthly spend cap) and 1% cash back on all other eligible purchases. Plus, when it comes on a rotating category, I have the Discover It Cash Back and I can change my Freedom Unlimited to the Flex later on if I want another rotating category card.

🙋‍♂️ Come say hi on Instagram @joshcbutler

Sam's Club from Synchrony is my permanent 5% cash back card, although if it is a Flex category I will take the Chase points over straight cash. Of course when I could get 10% on a first year Discover quarter that was the best option. Inside a Sam's is pretty much the same as inside Costco, not as pretty but cheaper overall with more name brand options.

I'm still rocking my Citi Custom Cash for gas and see it always being in that spot unless a new card catches my eye. Pairing it with the Citi Premier card one day will make it really powerful for me! Great breakdown here Josh!

0:00 Bank of America Customized Cash Rewards

2:40 Abound Federal Credit Union Platinum Visa

I own and use the AAA card. Only downside for me is there is no app for it. Have to log in their website

— @jmsshannon

4:19 PNC Cash Rewards Card

5:44 AAA Travel Advantage Visa

Great video! I saw it mentioned already but Wells Fargo autograph card is comparable to Bank of America customized cash with 3%, but is unlimited so it makes it better as well as a similar sign up bonus. Also has no foreign transaction fees. Another mention may be the Venmo credit card that gets you 3% on your top spend category and I believe it also has no foreign transactions fees but I may be wrong. No sign up bonus or anything like that though so not as great, but still an option to contend with the 3% cards at least

— @MPG2014

7:09 Costco Anywhere Visa by Citi

8:58 Sam's Club MasterCard

Chase Ink Cash gives 2X MR up to $25k, 75K SUB, and 5% on wireless/cable/internet. No AF and doesn’t take up a 5/24 spot. Most people could hit the SUB with gas, wireless, internet spend. You could get a new card/SUB each year.

I charge my car at my house. I haven’t been to a gas station in a couple of years. I save so much by not buying garbage every time I filled up with gas.

— @krs1905

11:22 Citi Custom Cash

13:38 Verizon Visa

How have you never been inside of a Sam’s club? It’s nothing special to be honest 😂.
Verizon you say? You’re fancy. I’m with T-Mobile 😅. Verizon is a little too expensive for my blood,
I’ve never heard of red stone credit Union, but those rewards sound good.
Isn’t Comenity bank (idk how to spell it) one of those sketchy banks? It feels that way 😂😂😂. So does this AAA card come with a AAA membership? 👀
This category was very important for me in the past, but, I fill up 1x per month now 😂😂😂😂, so I don’t like gas as a reward category as much as I used to.
Excellent video Joshua!!! And don’t forget….I was first #TeamRoseGold

Great gas cards! I like the Hilton cards, the Custom cash, PenFed Platinum card and Sam’s card for gas. Great video and information! ✌️

Great video Josh! Love my BofA CCR for that 5.25% Gas .. works at Costco too! Online shopping is another great 3% category on this card, but that’s why having more than one is a great move! 😊

Great video here Josh! Some really unique Cards here as well! I'll be using the Citi Custom Cash for Gas here pretty soon when I get the Card, but the Costco Anywhere Visa is a super underrated Card too!
