Be ready. It takes FOUR MONTHS to finally get the preferred rewards system finally enrolled. They really discourage getting that benefit.

The Travel Rewards card makes sense for exchange students. (No foreign transaction fee)

Well yeah, that's what we expected

Does anyone know if the BOA cash rewards online shopping category gives 3% back at Costco.com? Costco visa only gives 2% in store and online.

I've been turned down twice behind the blue travelers reward card! And I wanted it till👁 👀 this video. Having my cash rewards card is much better by comparison! I'll shoot for the platinum card instead.

You forgot to mention on the Bank of America Travel Rewards card that you get 3x back on travel when you book through the Bank of America Travel portal!

Hi, i have a charge off on a $20,000 limit Bank of America credit card, i currently owe $11,000 but the sent me an email to pay $3,000 as settlement. Do you think i can negotiate to pay the full amount owed instead of the settlement amount for a chance to still do business with them in the future? i miss my Bank of America credit card. I need your expertise advice.

I'm so impressed with the generosity of the cc companies. Trickle a few 'points' in order to attract the mice then only charge a paltry 17-25%+ interest! Should be given the Nobel Peace Prize. Why not, Jimmy 'Dumbass' Carter got it and he fucked us over even better!

Think I'll drop 100K into a nothing interest account so I can get some bonus points! EXCITED! Who does this?????

Some time ago I had called into BOA and got a read dick head. Then I wrote a letter to BOA and yesterday I talked to a lady, let me tell you, she was awesome. With natural talent she had me eating out of the palm of her hand. That lady is one employee they had better keep, no mater what the cost.

Maybe credit card are ok here but never ever open a new account to cash payroll checks becaue they will to you and make excuses why you cant take your money out. It will take weeks of hell dealing with them as we have and are still trying to get our work pay check withdrawn from Bank of America.

Bank of america travel reward credit card is best. It is good choice with no annual fee, 25000 sign up bonus points and 1.5x reward rate on everything.

I think showing the each card (maybe a generic picture) would be helpful while explaining them.

Such a big company as Bank of America stole money from their customer. Bank of America didn’t take any their mistake. They would never apologize or recorrect it! Also, they deleted the comment and block the customer who got problem with them, like they never happen. As a big company , please improve the system and the customer service. As a bank , keeps the customer’s money for safety way! Today what you do, tomorrow what you become!

I’ve been banking with BoA all my life until I got into the credit card game and saw how poor they fair in many aspects. When redeeming cashback from the 1-2-3 Cash Rewards card, it used to show your points and how much extra bonus you’d get if you redeemed it into a BoA checking account (10% bonus + higher if you have lots of money banking with them).

I tried to redeem my cashback again this year after becoming a Platinum rewards member. They added this complicated “Relationship Bonus” on my cashback history. So before when I spent $1 at a grocery store, it would normally show “$0.0x” and “category bonus” because it’s x% on groceries. Now, they’ve added “$0.0x” and “Relationship Bonus” randomly. Which doesn’t make the math work out. I’ve tried to contact BoA and ask for this to be shown in an easier format for me or at least explain to me how the relationship bonus works. The people in the branches are very nice and referred me to the number on the back of my card. But it takes forever to get past the automatic “smart” robot caller. The people on the phones are so frustratingly stupid, and that’s if you can even get transferred past the “smart” robot answers.

When I redeemed my cashback now, it doesn’t show me my bonus 10% for redeeming into a BoA checking account or the 50% bonus from Platinum rewards. So I emptied my cashback and moved my money to a Discover savings account for that 2.1% APY. It’s just so frustrating trying to get any credit answers from this company.

BOA cash rewards is good if you invest with Merrill lynch a lot. Otherwise their cards are average.

Does anyone know if BofA has their own version of 5/24? i applied for AS VS and got turned down due to "too many recently opened." I've opened perhaps 8/24.

Terrible bank never do any business with them

@ochenhetree
@

I started with the premium card, but switched over to the cash rewards for 3% (eventually 5.25%) on online shopping. The premium card mirrored my Sam's Club card too much, and since AMEX Gold incidentals no longer covers gift cards, $100 from one card is plenty.

Travel Rewards makes sense if you have 100K with BoA, at 2.62% with no annual fee. Let's say I booked a rafting trip for $100, and with 5% cashback, essentially costing $95. The value of BoA Travel Rewards then equals: 2.62 x .95 = 2.49%.

The problem with BOA is there is just nothing special about their cards. They aren’t terrible just nothing special about them at all.

Best secured card is Discover. What do you think?

The people inside the BOA branch are a pleasure to deal with BUT the scumbags who are in charge of the credit cards are very unprofessional and could careless about the customers. I had a sizable amount of money in BOA and after dealing with the credit card people i took all my money out and closed all my accounts. Bye Bye BOA ... Hello Navy Federal

Not a fan of bofa, own stock but still not a fan. Great video though!

I have BofA secured card; $99 for payment for $500 worth of credit line. Hopefully, by the year end, they will product upgrade to unsecured card. I have been BofA checking customer since 2011 so hopefully they take that in to consideration.

I have 2 boa cards. Love the boa cash back card. 3% on select categories. Heard you can transfer cash back to a boa account. Sounds good

BofA Secured card was my first credit card . Got it after high school and got the deposit back around the 1 year anniversary. After about 4 years they automatically upgraded it to the Cash Rewards card. Pretty good!

Can you apply for the Cash Rewards student card as a student, then get the regular cash rewards a year later? Would love to have $5k quarterly spend on certain categories.
