For our lame repuglican friends who ask what have the Dems done for the country???.....American Rescue plan with zero votes from repuglicans.....$1400. checks/ $300. extra for unemployment/ and direct Child tax payments to families that raised 50% of American children out of poverty status. 2)Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act....the biggest public works bill since 1956. Investments in roads new & repairs/ bridges/ dams/ railroads/ airports/ shipping ports/ replacement of water pipes for clean drinking water/ improvements and upgrades to the electrical grid/ high speed internet for rural communities/ and more. 3) Inflation Reduction ACT.....AGAIN with ALL repuglicans voting against.....allows Medicare to negotiate drug prices/ caps what seniors pay out of pocket for drugs at $2000. a year./ lower insulin cost/ more investment into green energy projects like solar & wind/ tax credits on electric cars. 4) The CHIPS Act.....NO more buying silicon chips from China....making silicon chip factories come back home to the USA with good paying jobs. 5) The PACT Act.....providing health care to OUR veterans who were exposed to toxic burn pits and agent orange. 6) A bill to reauthorize and fund the Violence Against Women Act. 7) A gun bill.....to close loop holes in background checks....still NOT enough, but it was first gun bill passed and signed by a President in OVER 20 years. 8) All the military and humanitarian aid for Ukraine in their battle against Russian aggression. Could go on, but do NOT want to hurt any soft brain people out there and you get the point. .

It is our country to mold, we do not need to listen to the fear mongers again let go of those extremes. From the bottom up head never been trued. Give someone in need money and they will spend it. In turn you’ll need to build more grocery stores. , homes , gas stations ect.

In the midterms, 18-29 year old turnout was a pathetic 27% so we need to help them organize, engage in politics and vote.

@Shepherd20.28The Republican pundits on here are wrong. The republican party won't lose base MAGA voters if they go away from Trump. There is NO WAY any of them will vote for the Democrats; however there are a lot of Republicans that have shown for a couple election cycles now that they will not vote for Trump, his antics, election denialism, or anyone he endorses because of it. The Republican party is split on Trump and cannot win consistently until he is in the rear view and we are able to pull the party's voters together again on policy rather than being divided on polarizing personality. In my home state this past week our incumbent senator and house representative up for re-election both won 70% and 77% of the vote respectively. Our state is about as red as they get; yet in 2020 Trump only got 61% of the vote. That is a considerable margin of difference for a state as reliably red as ours. That tells me that there are lockstep Republicans in our state that refuse to vote for Trump. Being off the mark 10-15% with Republican voters in a state like mine doesn't matter much, but it is certainly a big enough drop to hurt a presidential candidate in any swing state. IF Trump becomes the nominee again for 2024 the Democrats will hold onto the presidency. IF the Republican party runs ANYONE else they will win in a landslide based on the economy alone. The Republican party needs to start being real about that kind of data and information.
