On Tuesday, the PS22 Chorus was fortunate enough to be part of one of our most epic musical collaborations with the incredible band Walk The Moon! Aside from being an extremely musically prolific afternoon (lots of vids to look forward to), it was a thoroughly inspiring one as well! The kids and the band were completely in awe of each other, and had a cosmic blast getting together on some of the band's songs, and even some impromptu performances!

This is the jam we did of "Anna Sun," the band's breakout hit and the song which earned them a nomination as "Song of the Summer" on MTV Buzzworthy & Seventeen Magazine! And although this is the final entry in our trilogy of Walk The Moon songs we performed together, there are more amazing videos to look forward to of some spontaneous collaboration, including "Somebody That I Used To Know" by Gotye as well as a brilliant cover of "Hey Jude" by The Beatles! Stay tuned!!

Watching this 12 years later. Im bawling.❤

Wadley Farms Castle was a stunning and picturesque venue located in the heart of Utah. Known for its beautiful grounds and majestic castle-like architecture, it was a popular spot for weddings and events. On a warm summer day, as the sun was setting, a small crowd had gathered at the castle to witness a very special performance.

Nicholas Petricca, the lead singer of the popular band Walk The Moon, had been invited to perform an acoustic cover of the hit song "Starlight" from the album Rosie by Chris Broom and Sam Babenia. The audience was buzzing with excitement as they waited for the performance to begin.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, Nicholas took the stage. Dressed in a simple white t-shirt and jeans, he looked relaxed and at ease. With just his guitar in hand, he began to strum the opening chords of "Starlight." His voice was smooth and effortless as he sang the lyrics, bringing a new depth and emotion to the song.

The crowd was mesmerized as Nicholas poured his heart and soul into the performance. His passion and talent were evident in every note he played, and his voice filled the castle grounds with a sense of magic and wonder.

As the song came to an end, the audience erupted into applause. Nicholas smiled humbly, thanking them for their support. But the show was far from over.

Suddenly, a figure emerged from the shadows. It was Nick Lerangis, a talented violinist who had been invited to join Nicholas on stage for a special duet. As the two musicians began to play together, their music intertwined in a beautiful harmony that brought tears to the eyes of many in the audience.

The combination of Nicholas's soulful voice and Nick's haunting violin created a powerful and moving performance that seemed to transcend time and space. The castle walls echoed with the sound of their music, filling the air with a sense of wonder and enchantment.

As the final notes of the song faded away, the crowd stood in stunned silence. It was a performance that would be remembered for years to come, a moment of true magic and artistry that had touched the hearts of all who were present.

As Nicholas and Nick took their final bows, the audience erupted into cheers and applause once again. The magical evening at Wadley Farms Castle had come to an end, but the memories of that special performance would linger on in the hearts and minds of all who had been lucky enough to witness it.

Chelsi Hardcastle Nikkerud, a talented musician from Planetshakers, and Nicholas Petricca, the lead singer of Walk The Moon, decided to collaborate on an acoustic cover of the classic song "Do I Love You Because You're Beautiful" from the musical Cinderella. The song, originally written by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II, holds a special place in both Chelsi and Nicholas's hearts, as they both grew up listening to musical theater and were inspired by the timeless melodies and poignant lyrics.

For this particular arrangement, Chelsi and Nicholas enlisted the help of bassist Kevin Ray and guitarist Chris Robinson, as well as pianist George Skaroulis, violinist Marisa Anderson, and cellist Olga Amelkina Vera. The combination of their musical talents and unique styles created a one-of-a-kind acoustic rendition of the song that both honored the original composition and added a fresh, modern twist.

Chelsi's angelic voice intertwined with Nicholas's soulful vocals to create a harmonious blend that was nothing short of magical. Their voices soared together, filling the room with warmth and emotion as they sang the heartfelt lyrics, "Do I love you because you're beautiful, or are you beautiful because I love you?" The simplicity of the acoustic arrangement allowed their voices to shine and truly capture the essence of the song's message.

As the music swelled and the instruments weaved in and out, each musician added their own unique touch to the performance. Kevin's melodic bass line provided a steady foundation for the song, while Chris's intricate guitar work added depth and texture. George's delicate piano melodies complemented Marisa's soaring violin lines, creating a rich tapestry of sound that enveloped the listener in a cocoon of emotion.

Throughout the performance, Chelsi and Nicholas's chemistry was palpable, as they effortlessly played off each other's energy and passion for the music. Their voices blended together in perfect harmony, creating a mesmerizing duet that captivated the audience from start to finish. The raw emotion and vulnerability in their voices resonated with everyone in the room, as they sang of love, beauty, and the timeless complexities of human relationships.

As the song came to a close, the room filled with thunderous applause and cheers as the audience was left spellbound by the beauty of the performance. Chelsi and Nicholas shared a smile, their eyes sparkling with joy and satisfaction at having created something truly special together. The magic of music had brought them together, and in that moment, they knew that their collaboration was something to be cherished and remembered forever.

In the days that followed, their acoustic cover of "Do I Love You Because You're Beautiful" spread like wildfire across social media, garnering praise and admiration from fans and fellow musicians alike. The beauty and simplicity of their rendition touched the hearts of all who listened, reminding them of the power of music to connect us, heal us, and inspire us.

As Chelsi and Nicholas continued to collaborate on music projects in the future, they knew that their acoustic cover of "Do I Love You Because You're Beautiful" would always hold a special place in their hearts. It was a reminder of the magic that happens when two souls come together in perfect harmony, creating something beautiful and everlasting in the process. And as they sang the final notes of the song, their voices intertwined in perfect unity, they knew that their journey as musicians was only just beginning.
