as a swede, i'm very happy to see some Nat Geo documentaries touching on scandinavia, for a change!
it does however have the slight drawback of having to listen to people speaking english with very thick swedish/norwegian accents lol. and bless the narrator for his obvious effort of learning to pronounce scandinavian names! it's still not perfect, but much better than others i've heard. (tho hearing king Karl being referred to as Charles is still very weird...)

So they contaminated their sources of water with humans n animals cadavres. Im not sure how they ended Up believing in that but that's for sure what causes their downfall . People must had been tired of all theses sacrifices for nothing

What I find so encouraging is the correct use of words, correct spelling and general quest for information by the comments in this video. Comparing the people watching this to other videos on uTube proves the intelligence of most of our race.

Poor slave rooms nothing in them. All the gold and treasure probably stolen and looted the week after they died or left. Idk anything just get curious between facts and stories they make as they go. Cool either way.

It is unbearable to watch! The narrator keeps shouting all-the-time. The music is overly dramatic and the narrator sounds like he is trying to talk over it. There is no need for such suspenseful, loud, dramatic staccato rhythm. Documentaries are no longer educational in a pleasant way, they are all made Hollywood/Disney style, what a shame. At least the American ones.

Watching this just made me realize that someday, probably hundreds or thousands of years from now, the then generation will also be trying to figure us out, and find out things about us.
How beautiful is that?
The world is really a small place, and time is an illusion.

I love history docs but when the music is SO intense like this it’s a little harder to digest. I love the calmer docs lately, with soothing narration and music.
