i just use Steam to buy the games i want... and right now there's only 3 games i'm interested in: Resident Evil 9, GTA6, and Nioh 3.. thats it... i looked at GoG, but i ain't interested in what they offer... i mean, i searched for Elden Ring on GoG, but they don't offer it... thats ridiculous.. i'll pass, and just stick to what works: Steam

Great advice and breakdown on the different platforms. Gog is so good, and you're right about epic. I think everyone should at least make an account so that they can get all the free games. I think I bought one game on epic so far and I have like 40 games 😅.

If you want to find the cheapest prices then use "Is There Any Deal" or GG Deals to compare prices from all the different retailers.
GOG is excellent though, I'm willing to pay a bit more or buy again from them to avoid DRM garbage like Denuvo REQUIRING an internet connection to activate.

Big fan of Greenman Gaming and Loaded? (wtf) hahaha it will always be CD Keys to me. We get so many opportunities to get games for cheap on PC its wild. I rarely pay full price.

I just canceled my Game pass subscription before all the hype, the library that they offer really just ain't worth it. I'll go on there and play maybe two or three games until I get sick of them and then turn the system off or I revert back to using steam.

The most I was playing recently is just Oblivion, and I didn't even care for the new call of duty. After that I just said forget it and bought oblivion, canceled the sub and called it a day

Might be one of the few people that thinks Game pass is still a good deal, specifically the PC version. £12.99 for all those games... if a game rental service came out today and you could get games day one and keep most for as long as you like for that price, people would be prasing it to no end.

Are prices increases crap? Yes, is Game pass still a good deal? Yes.

Not defending the way gaming is going, some hardware is stupidly expensive, games going up to £80 - £90 is a joke. But people havebeen saying for years that game pass is too good to be true and the price has to go up at some point are now the same people who are finding massive issue with the price.
