Yeap, Portrait of a Lady on Fire will become a classic. Mark my words.
Thank you for watching! :)
Mikey Madison is great but Anora was not

Missing a whole slew of other foreign films, especially Korean
@dal.890where's the Bee Movie?
@taha7538Black Panther really doesn't belong here. It gets overly glazed because it was the first primarily big name African American superhero movie cast, but otherwise, the story, visuals, writing, and acting were forgettable. The best part was the music and the action. But those two things alone do not make a movie a classic. It was an entertaining 6.5/10. Don't regret watching it, but it is incredibly overhyped.
@ZugZug99Great list! As an aside, IMO there's no need for the faint background music.
@NYC-18black panther(?) are you f***ing kidding me? the cgi just blew chunks hard on this one. so fake, so plastic, along with the rest of the cinematography. pretty much doubt that one. How about Sicario? the VVitch? The Lighthouse?
@gregmattson2238As a college student with a film minor, here are the movies from the video already in the syllabus: Black Panther, La La Land, Get Out, Spider-Verse, The Zone of Interest, Joker, Moonlight (was an option for finals), and Oppenheimer
@Whatever14376Bullet train belongs on here tbh
@gudfren7700You lost me at black panther, an insult to the real Black Panthers.
@lifehaqs40Um hello?? A QUIET PLACE?!
@OrdinaryPigeon15:37 and no mention of “the voice of hind rajab” the real story of a 6 y/o trapped in Gaza as her and her family are attacked by the IDF
@chino7054moonlight was so boring and anora as well, why is it here
@mooniharuright now a year later, i gotta say backrooms prolly belongs to this
@Namedvoice124082014:Whiplash
@balukarnam3770No Hamnet? Hamnet feels like a movie people will (or at least should) be talking about for years to come.
@darthxerxes5468Dune and Dune 2 are the most boring movies I've ever had the misfortune to have to watch.
@gazs7237Zone of Interest would have actual impact if it was made 30 years ago. It's a dated idea (The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, 2008) with a dated discussion (Hannah Arendt, 1963). Other than sound design and editing, what's new about the topic? It has no impact on the culture.
Also ANORA?!
Where’s frankenstein? 😢
And also Project hail mary
Black panther is the only Marvel movie I couldn’t watch to the end. Yes, it is THAT BAD.
@antonvoloshin9833soul not making it💔
@codeetc1805+My neighbour hot wife
@comradeAngmoiI feel like baby driver will be a classic. Also, the latest puss in boots
@Anonymous-to6fnproject hail mary!!! (+ i was waiting for the substance😞)
@9winaurCan’t have Oppenheimer without also having The Barbie Movie
@radishpieI dont think its inherently wrong to have endgame here but I think its fair to say
Infinity War was far more culturaly impactful and the movie overall more of a classic and memerable compared to Endgame which only the final quarter was anywhere as impactful while so much of it is far more forgetable and Infinity War being absolutely full of not only memerable moments but also memerable lines. The endgame final battle is defenitely hype but "the snap" is arguably one of the most defining moments in pop culture that defines the marvel era of movies.
Only seen the joker from this list and I want a big fan of it lol
@dangerousthoughts.1591Little Women!!!!
@ch3rrriessFinally caught up to your video. I can agree with some but not all of your choices but I'll definitely die on this hill regarding one you omitted: I believe that in decades to come, PAST LIVES will find its audience and only grow in both popularity and stature. It is timeless.
@NYCOPYGUYMCU slop and Ari Aster, some list you got there.
@jan8742I think Baby Driver should definitely be on this list. Just for the way Edgar Wright used music to fame the story.
@savanamoon107104I have to nominate Whiplash over La La Land, but that's just me. Also there should be at least one Robert Eggers movie on this list, I personally would nominate The Lighthouse, another 2019 banger
