Wait, so those complex neural networks are actually just fancy versions of simple line graphs? I saw a lesson on this when trying the AI Course Autopilot on Doitong AI, but hearing him say they're the same thing still confuses me.
In this video I will go through all machine learning algorithms in less than 17 minutes to get you an intuitive understanding of how they work and how they relate to each other as well as help you decide how to pick the right one for your problem. Going all the way from Linear Regression to Neural Networks / Deep Learning and Unsupervised Learning.
Also Watch:
This video is not helpful to beginners, its more of a refresher for people who have already learned some basic statistics. The speaker is kinda just reading off a script, but its not going to give you a very intuitive sense of all these concepts. You will need to have heard most of these terms before

Might be the only utube video where I decreased playback speed instead of increasing it

Chapters:
A nice summary. Are you doing PhD or already one in ML.and DL ? If not, why are many data scientists wanting to do phd and then go via applied scientist or research scientist route as career path ?
00:00 - Intro: What is Machine Learning?
00:59 - Supervised Learning
Im glad I could recognize most of the ones on the tumbnail, I've been learning so much
01:37 - Unsupervised Learning
02:20 - Linear Regression
What about Lightgbm??? How is it different from XGboost?? Is it really better for more stats?
04:04 - Logistic Regression
04:53 - K Nearest Neighbors (KNN)
Now I realize that all the math stuff we learn at school is valuable for many stuff we don't even know. Knowledge is important but applying is makes the difference.
06:10 - Support Vector Machine (SVM)
07:51 - Naive Bayes Classifier
I might need a day off to finish this video :)
08:37 - Decision Trees
09:11 - Ensemble Algorithms
This might be first video where i dont need to play it on 2x , rather I reduced the speed by -0.25
09:24 - Bagging & Random Forests
09:53 - Boosting & Strong Learners
YOU ARE A LEGEND. I have my final year AI test tomo and this has been super helpful. Thank you.
10:26 - Neural Networks / Deep Learning
12:42 - Unsupervised Learning (again)
Have an exam in 2 hours, this was a great recap cheers
12:57 - Clustering / K-means
14:35 - Dimensionality Reduction
Penis 😂
15:15 - Principal Component Analysis (PCA)
Love how the things that I actually need to know for the exam aren't in the scope of this video...

wow i have learn a lot
@Mathematics_N-io4yyamazing
@ahmadfawzilafiThank you thank you.....
@Sgaming-ex6wsGreat video! Peace out
@Pedritox0953Really well and succinctly presented.
@iljackbCan't believe the image of a toilet seat with a jacket on broke me at 1 am. God help my mental health during the turmoil that is Machine Learning
@RobertaPeinFor my machine learning course this is gold. The video covered all the algorithms we have, and made it much more intuitive.

I was thinking to give video to kids, until i see this 8:15
@ariaamadeus1785THANK YOU, BEST VIDEO EVER
@Dkkdk-m2dgreat video and content
@narmi116This guy really sounds like Arnold S. in terminator 2.
@rawmyjurshad720Dude! The final cheat sheet is just the icing in the cake. Really, S+ tear video, legit underrated.
@JonathanArcher100This video is gold. Upvote!!
@JonathanArcher100Well explained… 😮
@bishworanjit1247This video is better than 100 hours of AI lecture from my school
@wildwhale8610Not that good !
@gokukanishkaOkay this video took me 5 hours to watch by pausing and taking notes and I'll have to revisit it again and again but thanks so much.
@ahenkeu0.8 or 0.85 speed, based on your taste
@bad4b0omOne day before exam
@MithulalTotasinghVery sensible!!
Studying the ISACA AI Fundamentals right now, and after reading textbooks and wracking my brain over data scientist jargon for weeks, I gotta say this cleared up a lot of points.
If this sounded like a foreign language, just wait till you hear the way experts talk to each other about this stuff 😵💫😵💫😵💫
Man I wish i had this vid back in my undergrad days
@DerThinkerNo fluff, sponsor garbage or personal opinions. Thank You!
@klausditrich7323bro im a business student and i have an ML class and you really helped i understood quite well
@YoussraAnsouri-d4xMy brain actually applauded. That has never happened before.
@XhufgFbfghI hope this test doesn't suck
@BlackEnigma80clustering is so clever but so simple at the same time, especially for it being unsupervised
@h4lhexThis is so great vdo
@isratfffwhat an AMAZING infro video! I am going to watch this again a few times and then go down some rabbit holes. Cant wait to dig into the cheat sheet also! Top notch.
@blammelaThe video was awesome but it could have examples like clustering in the stock market data where you have to find the patterns
@Suraj-g7w8bThank you for the great knowledge to us for free❤
@comedytraderBro… this is next-level impressive 👏
