Airbus A380 Mega Aircraft: Inside the World’s Biggest Passenger Jet | FD Engineering
I would wholeheartedly fly any airbus aircraft over boeing….anytime. I feel safer. Just saying.

Whooooa! She's a behemoth! 😃 The first one of those to plow the ground is gonna make a helluva mess 😬

Made changes to itinerary just to be able to fly this magnifiect machine. Got upper deck seat having that beautiful view of those 2 engines doing their duty. The journey from DXB to PRG was so peaceful.

I flew to New Zealand economy class and flew back in business because of health problems it was the best ever flights I have ever been on.
@RichardDenby-q3hSo unfortunate that they ended this program - hopefully the plane keeps flying for a long time
@genxeratlAnd yet, too big of a guzzler and will be retired soon, too bad, love this plane!
@NepomucYou are safer and get a better ride in a 1935 Biplane.
@MarBlox-k1uSo...for the takeoff procedure, the captain pushes forward the four thrust lever-thingies to their "maximum position" power so that all four for jet engines are going full speed. Now, after that procedure, what happens once they're in the air and flying at the scheduled altitude? Does the captain have a gas pedal on the floor next to the brake pedal that he just pushes down on and the airplane goes faster? Also, where's the steering wheel?
@daler.steffy1047This video is from 2012, I don’t see the original air date listed in the description or title anywhere. That is important/helpful context for a video like this. Many stats/facts that are now significantly different.
@nope2922How come Captain Raps is still working with Lufthansa? I though he retired all ready

@YosiasMatulessy-f7uUKOA ALTiM = good news.
@YosiasMatulessy-f7uThis is the most interesting video I’ve seen in a long time, Love it!! Ionly wished you would’ve touched on the type of engines they have
@GULFSTREADREAMReproduction of 10 years old video. 380 production already ended years ago. There is no more new 380. 747 also ended.
@sjoon1015Europe First.
@RobbieNelisGreat video
@ashleypeele4712Ah, those wonderful days long, long ago- when flying Lufthansa made one proud....
@RagdeB❤❤❤❤❤
@IgorStukkertWhat’s wrong with going off and leaving the few people who hold up everyone else?
@janeceeastwood8035Took this to Japan.. loved it!!! Now i have to fly emirates to get on one
@gewglesuxI think this specific plane has been scrapped 😢
@Termanator-xe5ivA failure, now out of production. Too big to be profitable.
@DMBallAs a former flight attendant for United Airlines with 22 years of service I wish I had had the opportunity to fly one of these magnificent craft!✈️😎
@daviddubois7560Josh!!!!
@EmilGabrielNYCI flew it from FRA to DEL back in 2018,in business class,was one of the best flights i ever had in my 55 plus years of flying..Their 747 was also a great flight from MCO to FRA...
@neilcharles252017:17 Frau Gate Agent boutta be like, "VERE ARE ZEE PASSENGERS!?!?!"
@firstlas9647So Airbus and Lufthansa collaborated for a nice PR piec... I mean Free Documentary
@eshiveleyHave any A380s crashed?
@dacronic1646It’s an even more impressive tolerance when you have the true fact that 40 microns is actually just UNDER HALF a sheet of paper.
@a1glassmirrorIt shouldn't cost anyone any money to fly on that plane because the entire life force electric power that exists on this planet helped build that airplane

Rainbow friends here 🌈
Nothing compares to the 747 and nothing ever will!!
@joeborrajo186My dad was an aeronautical engineer, so I got into commercial Jets and became an AV geek. I have flown so much!!! However, I unfortunately have never been able to fly on these 2 fascinating and brilliant aircrafts. Hopefully someday. ❤
@dorothysboy110:17 - The captain openly making flight plans based on press schedules. Now that's what you want to hear. 😬
@nancyrhm2094It's a great experience to fly in a A 380! Loved it!
@annelizebatel6217We were on one of the very early flights from Frankfurt to SFO….it was extraordinary….not a bump or ripple was felt during the entire flight ..it was like gliding on glass…..extraordinary plane.
@lm-hf3gdFun doco. Well done.
@EricOnYouTubeSadly. Lufthansa is on the decline. Their first class is worse than sgp airline business class. Lufthansa business class configuration of 2/2/2 is hopeless and worse than sgp airline premium economy. With their frequent labour strikes, it is a hopeless airline.
@jamesyun7541I love the gift of flight, but being in the air still scares me. Awesome video!
@Rick-o7wI thought the A380 is not being manufactured anymore.
@rogerhartman5629This looks like an old video I’ve seen couple of years ago. And it’s not a successful launch or airplane.
@patl4668The companies that designed and built it didn’t sell enough of them to recoup their investment, airbus only built 251 of them with a break even number being 400 ,
@terrybangley2281An absolute flying Marvel! Great video! Congrats to AirBus!!
@Gudi102The 780 is unequivocally the best commercial plane you’ll ever fly. My overseas flights are noticeably smoother than other planes. The spaciousness and comfort is amazing.
@ShortwideguyLove it or hate it, the A380 had quite literally redefined aviation!
@scuderia13So interesting!! But the "background" music sometimes competes excessively with the narrative which is what one wants to hear. Please, please turn it down!
@rondinnellaI first saw it when it first came to Mumbai in 2007.I think it was on a trial trip. 👍❤ ✈️
@prabhakarkmv4135Not sure why the documentary compares the size of the A380 with the long discontinued 747 instead of the 787.
@rkgsdBin mal in den Genuss gekommen von London nach Singapore mit dem Vogel zu fliegen, sit besser als schweben!
