@simpleOC4740I dont think people understand what this song is about. Its about a woman leaving him thinking the grass is greener on the other side and maybe it's not and she might regret it. I understand this song so much as I have gotten older, its true people always think life is better someplace else, and maybe it is for some and as he said maybe they have fallen for a shooting star, but you will find that some people do regret their choice of leaving and realize they had it all from the start and lost it. For what it's worth, my brother passed away from COVID-19 virus in September 2021. I'd already lost my mom in 2016 and my father in 2018 but this hit me different This hit me sideways and I had to hold ceremony for him. I crossed the Veil And he came to me through the constellations like a shooting star and he spoke to me and he told me he was all right and his eyes twinkled like stars and then he was gone. I rested in the arms of the Goddess before I returned to this plane but when I return to consciousness I knew in that moment everything that we think about the other side everything we've been taught is wrong we never really die, we just change form and change location and we don't worry anymore there's a piece that surpasses all understanding and that, that is the most reassuring knowledge I've ever received. I don't have to take it on faith because I know. But while we're here, we should live break the bones and scrape the marrow from life, drink deeply from this cup that's why we're here Life is beautiful If you want it to be.
