I've been searching for this track from my childhood for weeks. I could place the time, but not the artist. Then it occurred to me, it's Adam and the Ants. They were weird, played with unusual rhythms and old-world themes. Hearing it finally after all these years certainly didn't disappoint. It exceeded all expectations. What a great band and creative time.

I first heared this song when I was ~10 yrs old, unable to understand the lyrics (beeing no native speaker). 45 yrs later, I still love it and now I discovered this gem of a music video.
Thanks to the comments I know now who Diana Dors is, but that hillarious finale with the Clint Eastwood/Alice Cooper/Lawrence of Arabia/Adam himself outfits alone is worth a million views.
