We learn a lot from our peers, and in this case, the lesson was about the importance of creating space for your songs to breathe so you can hear what’s happening between the notes.

If your are a black man, take a break from the rap and hip hop and dive into the beautiful sound of folk music. As a man the worse you can do is to keep running from your emotions. Let the storm rage until you reach the calmness after. Growth, healing, and evolution is not meant to be comfortable. It is best to feel all of it raw and unfiltered.
