2019 was so peak
For people who are wondering and want to learn a bit more about school life in France:
"Each public school is different.
In my school the bell is a wakeup call to an army parade
Things like rules such as showing your id or the way the "cantine" works or the kind of food that is available can differ quite a lot (the sound between each class is also different for each school).
In some school students are freer and therefore is some other you can have more restriction.
تكوفرمش ❤يمن❤
The type of event and class available in high school can change as well.
For example in my high school we could have additional classes during the vacation if we wanted to which is very rare in public school, also we were forced to have an internship during our first year of high school and had an oral presentation (while all of my friends who were from different high school, were already on vacation).
He's 22 year old now? A college student
Events like the carnival, the day of the music, chic day, prom night depends on the school (high school & junior high school).
The specialty classes available are also diverse: some can have languages like Chinese or Russian, others might have special classes for elite athletes (mine was specialized in handball but there were also other sports) or specialty like cinema, theatre, performing art, fine arts ... "
Trop cool ! 🙂

WHO AM I? ♻️
Hello! My name is Max Reisinger (Rye - Singer) and I’m a 17-year old student-athlete/entrepreneur/visual creative. I’m currently in my last year in high school and am applying to college/university (wish me luck). I’ve been creating videos here on YouTube since the beginning of 2019 when I moved to France for 7 months with my family. I attended a French public school during my time there and filmed all of my experiences/travels/new perspectives. After moving back to America, I started a business (https://perspectopia.com) and have continued to film how I use optimism to live a happy, well-balanced life.
Le droit a l'image qui se fait pas respecter la 😅😅
MY BUSINESS: 📦
At the beginning of 2020, I started a clothing brand - Perspectopia (Perspective + Utopia). My ultimate goal with this YouTube channel has always been to create a community and I strongly believe that optimistic perspectives can change your life. So, I decided to create a community based upon these ideas and also decided to create a line of clothing so that you can represent these same ideals.
Ohh les souvenirs
The first collection launched at the beginning of 2020 where I released a limited round of 100 embroidered champion hoodies. You guys absolutely blew me away and they sold out in less than 9 minutes!!? If you want to support the Perspectopia movement and rep the brand, follow @persptopia on Instagram (https://instagram.com/perspectopia) to get updates on all future drops, updates, and behind the scenes!
JOIN MY COMMUNITY: 🗺
I would love for you to join the Perspectopia discord community! - https://discord.gg/s9Enjrp

Bro, as an Indian who is studying in France, this video is so relatable. But ur public school seems pretty rich
Have a great day!

I'm French living in the States, I have 2 kids now, very little (4 and 1 yo). I'm planning to return to France for a bit in a few years to give them the French school experience in Middle school. Question for you, where did you learn French?
Thank you!

8:30, wtf, it's supposed to be a ‘public school’, but it's more like a futuristic type of school, and that was a video recorded 5 YEARS ago, *one living in a third-world school*.
More User Perspectives
Back in 1997 - 1998, I was an American exchange student going to French public school. Lived with a French family for that year. This reminds me of my experience except I didn't have a camera to videotape my experiences. Same teacher types, same bland undecorated classrooms. School there has barely changed. We used to have a smoking section outside though 😂That's probably changed. It was a lonely year of my life and the French aren't easy to integrate into. Once you live with them for multiple years, you finally get it and you can make it work but American culture and French culture are not very compatible so you must adjust your personality while living there. It's a bit depressing and serious all the time. They're a bit pessimistic compared to the happy Americans. Yes, we are naive as Americans but we're happy. 🤷♀️ just my two cents after living there a total of 3 years and then in Romania another 3 years. I had a tough time adjusting back to life in America, too. Anyway, I can relate and empathize with this young man living his life as fully as possible with as many experiences as possible. It can be lots of highs and lows. I know it seems great on the videos. I'm sure it's more challenging behind the camera and in real life. It's not always easy and that's ok. You have to ride the waves of life, so be sure to have your surfboard ready. Some day you'll meet a partner you can share everything with and it's amazing sharing your stories and revisiting places you made so many memories, good and bad. You'll have a partner in crime, ready to go out and experience the big things with you. Btw, I highly recommend Eastern Europe if you're American and wanting to study or live abroad. It's friendly, beautiful, extremely safe, old fashioned values, easier to make friends than Western Europe, imo. Less "stuffy" and more relaxed. I loved Romania for thus reason. Good luck!!

@avokadik_8Hi Max! I am a French teacher in California. I was looking for videos on a peek inside French high schools and came across your video. As you were "walking" to school in the video, the street you lived on looked familiar... what street was it? I did a little research and see you were in Aix.... Lycée Vauvenargues I think? I lived in Aix for a year on Chemin de Trois Moulins (off rue Jules Isaac) and attended university at the Institut d'Études Français pour les Étudiants Étrangers - across from Saint Sauveur. Thanks for the video... and walk down memory lane !

@daleenkaiser-tw8jzIf you don't have a class for the whole year, would you typically still get credit for it even thouch you didn't do anything?
@camille1136My Goal is to clear, the 2025 SSC CGL exam with AIR 32 to get the post of Income Tax Inspector.
Oh! Wow! I have cleared SSC CGL 2025 exam and Became an Income Tax Inspector.
I am celebrating, I am very happy and feeling very satisfied and excited.
Thank you so much, God.
Thank you, mummy, Papa, and Bhaisab for always supporting me.
Thank you to all the living and non-living things for supporting and helping me.
really nice video but actually the bell ring and the unisex toilets are specific to your school and not the whole system. In my current high school it's a piano song, in my former one it was the basic traumatizing "driiing"
@swana8677Excellent ❤❤❤
@talhaqaisrani607That girl is a real one refused for you to eat alone
@whitepeoplesofuckingweirdMan, I wish kids here could wake up at 7:25 and start classes at 8 or 9. In my town (in Croatia), schools start with classes from 7 AM, which is way too early, and I'm saying this as a high school teacher. It used to be like that when I went to school too, I literally had to wake up at 5 (or 5:30 the latest) to make it on time, and I was chronically sleep deprived all those years. Working as a teacher, that hasn't changed, but now I also have to manage a class of 20 or so teenagers who are also chronically sleep deprived every morning. Not gonna lie, it's really difficult.
@enilix1it is so cool
