2016 I was in Ventura County jail taking care of an infraction from a DUI I got in 2007. Long story short I am a Christian and this one night a gang banger came to my jail cell telling me if I don't change my housing by breakfast and when the cell doors open in the morning for breakfast she was gonna beat me up. Now this started a riot in the housing unit the day room was packed out with triple decker bunk beds and everything and everyone was yelling I got her shoes I was crying and telling the jailer to move my housing and he said there was no where to move me. So I grabbed my study Bible and started reading The book of Psalms at the top of my lungs to drown out the yelling and all the noise until I heard someone in the day room yell out all ominous and scared: "What's she doing!!!???
My bunky yelled back answering her: "She's reading her Bible!"
I thought: " what's going on? What are they all scared about?"
So I stopped reading to listen to what all the commotion was about. 🤔😯😯😯
