What a year for drifting 2025 was. The Goodwood Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard has some of the best drifters in the most outrageous drifting machines every year, but this year seemed to take it to another level. Goodwood regulars Mad Mike, Baggsy and James Deane set the Hill on fire (almost literally in one case), and we had the returning Ryan Tuerck in the Toyota Stout with a hay bale-clipping run. However, they were almost outshone by one of the wildest machines we've ever seen. Anyone for a drifting Volvo 740?

Not usually a mustang fan but that thing and the rotaries note was gold..
Have to appreciate the way ole mate in the stang gave it to it especially teasing the wall thru the forest section.. would be awesome to be in passenger seat if it has one

Just a reminder to those that aren't super familiar with Drifting, most of these cars are actually demo cars, they aren't competition cars bar the Mustang, GTR etc, so you're seeing cars which are an expression of the driver's interest and passion but aren't really the top level competition which you would see within Drifting, so they aren't as dialed in and the driver's aren't as comfortable with these cars but they bring them because they know the average punter would prefer to see these creations. The top level cars which will see proper top level drifting aren't here with their drivers super comfortable so as amazing as this looks I employ everyone to check out Drifting at a competitive level to see these amazing drivers in car's they compete in on tracks designed for the sport!
