3:06 that doesn't make sense, if it actually looped then gen 1 would be strong against 7. 7 > 6 > 5, so 3 should beat 1, not 1 beating 3. Kind of a stretch there

Talonflame and fletchinders fire typing comes from the black kite, more specifically the Australian Black Kite, the only bird known to spread fire by picking up Buring sticks and dropping it in areas to smoke out prey, in fact locals have given it the nickname fire bird.

@Dead_PegasusSo the oddly specific 310 mph mentioned in Talonflame’s Pokédex entry is because that’s the clean-cut equivalent of 500 kph, which is what I assume was written in the Japanese version.

@Tjmorton007This series is great, you could do a series about Pokemon Archetypes, like the pikachu clones the bears and the Fancy Cats, Id really love one for the Fancy Cats as I feel they get overlooked and are missing one for Gen 2, the Fancy Cats being Meowth and Persian for Gen1 and their Aloan forms for Gen 7, Skitty and Delcatty for Gen 3, Glameow and Purrugly for Gen 4, Purrloin and Liepard for Gen 5, and Espurr and Meowstic for Gen 6

Doublade having super high defense makes sense when you realize the main reason for using two swords at once is not to double your offensive output, but to be able to parry with both hands.

For Talonflame, I assume the reason the speed is 310 mph is because only about 10% of the Earth use Miles Per Hour. 310 mph is about 500 kilometers per hour. So instead of being inconsistent, the Pokemon Company just decided to do the conversion
@GreatHopwoodWhen you talked about frogadier you say 20 mph which is slow for a car but for an animal like being resembling a human it pretty damn fast

Aegis was the cloak/sheild that Athena, goddess of wisdom and handicraft, was gifted by her father.
I hold a fondness to kalos, it reminds me of a girl I had such a crush on. Looking forward to facts of some of my favorite pokemon to come
