Unpopular opinion but calling it “disasters” feels harsh when these choices are shaped by an industry that pressures celebrities to never age

Unimpressed by how cosmetic surgeons play on everyone insecurities and fears. I guess this comment goes into philosophy of science? Reminds me of how Celeberties normalize cosmetic surgery and also omit fact that cosmetic surgery is expensive showing how working class live in different world from celebrities thus increasing the class divide between working class and celeberties! Yes, someone can working class could save up for nose job but on average this takes 10 years and also you would not need to save up just for nose job but for also for possible second nose job know clinically as revision. Also cosmetic surgery is different from reconstruction surgery. Completing this circle too many videos on cosmetic surgery are from plastic surgeons endless guessing if celebrity has had cosmetic surgery or lacking in depth.

Celeberties are big factor in normalise cosmetic surgery which the WORKING CLASS cannot afford or have to save up for average a DECADE such as for nose job. There is a CLASS BLINDNESS whenever celebrities reduce cosmetic surgery to just a "human choice" as they often never. mention the EXPENSIVE cost of any cosmetic surgery. Reconstructive surgery is different from cosmetic surgery. I will give credit to comedian Sara Pascoe who in 2016 mentioned how expensive cosmetic surgery is for her book Animal and also actress Ali Larter who in 2026 interview is self aware of how expensive cosmetic surgery and beauty products can be when Ali Larter said "Weleda cream is the most amazing affordable luxury".

I'm convinced there's a picture of handsome Squidward on the wall of the plastic surgeon's office as a viable choice
