one thing i disagree with is that scales practice doesnt make music scales are music missing and fixing the scales as you learn them is how we make tunes out of the limited numbwr of notes we have to utiliez

i just know how to feel the rhythm and play through mistakes while making them part of the music. i play piano but haven't played guitar in a while. I can play keyboard Rhodes classic piano,bass guitar,drums, I can even sing. I made an rock instrumental before I broke one of my phones. I use all analog equipment and i prefer tube amps. gives the classic sounding music the warm organic kind of sound.

That is an improvement to being a artist who never creates anything, who never shares what is going on inside his head. Believing you are bad at something is far better than absolutely knowing you're a genius but having nothing to show for literal decades of mental anguish and frustration.

Exactly why I still make emo rap I mix my inspiration from 90's rock and late 2010's hip-hop scene. something like if bush and juice wrld had a love child. lol this video only tells me im already doing it right the few things you forgot to say tho is dont listen to the critics, be yourself and stay consistent once you find that balance. I want to say that as an aspiring musician, one of the things I used to he hard on myself about was if my music sounded too much like this or that song, but I realized that there are only so many notes or chords and so many songs that have already been written. What matters is that its MINE, my heart and soul poured into it. Even if the chord progression is the same, I can still twist it all up how I please.
