Very interesting video. When I joined the Navy I was guaranteed Electronic Warfare Tech, went to MEPS and failed the color test. Was a blessing in disguise as I am afraid of heights. Went to boot camp and selected Storekeeper (logicistics) as my rate. Was stationed at a recruiting district headquarters for my last tour, my district met the yearly quota one year. I have a niece that is looking at possibly joining the military after she graduates high school, sk this video helped. I already told her to join as early as she can because that helps for pay purposes and if she does the DEP that will prepare you for boot camp. I also told to figure out what types of jobs she would be interested in before she talks to a recruiter.
If you're asking yourself "Should I talk with a military recruiter" in 2024-2025? This video will give you 3 tips of the most important stuff you should know, before you meet with a Active Duty Military Recruiter. We will talk about Military jobs and choosing your MOS, and what to do (and not do) when meeting with your recruiter. Also, if your recruiter is not responding, stay persistent. Email, text, call and show up to their office. STAY ON THEM

I have an emotional support animal, cane corso that's 150lbs. My apt complex i live at, it was a restricted breed and the loophole someone showed me so they wouldn't be able to make me get rid of it was to fill out an online questionnaire from a psychiatrist that's basically says i require an emotional support animal to help me deal with anxiety and mood instability... it was a loophole exploited just so i wouldn't have to give up my dog. Months later as I'm trying to enlist, 1 thing i fear is the genesis will pick up that medical record at meps and find mental instability and deny me. What are your thoughts or experience on this?

Bro, my research taught to go through 5-8 recruiters more or less. The usual recruiters I met are just “yes and” people, and some lied about some information about the jobs and foundation. A recruiter told me, I could become a nurse almost immediately, maybe he said 3-6 months for being a field medic, I could choose not to get a haircut, and there’s no casualty rate 😂

When you go to MEPS, refuse to sign unless they give you the job you want. You’ll be amazed how that job that was unavailable 60 seconds ago all the sudden becomes available.

Horible advice to "not be job locked" don't let a recruiter push you into a 3-5 year contract. Its your life, remember their job is to get you to sign... USE YOUR BRAIN BEFORE YOU SIGN

Me watching this knowing good and well I probably can’t join up again. I probably can with a wavier.
My name is David Pere, I am an active duty Marine, and have realized that service members and the working class use the phrase "I don't get paid enough" entirely too often. The reality is that most often our financial situation is self-inflicted. After having success with real estate investing, I started From Military to Millionaire to teach personal finance and real estate investing to service members and the working class. As a result, I have helped many of my readers increase their savings gap, and increase their chances of achieving financial freedom!

Seeing my recruiter tomorrow
@JH_JohnsonI'm currently working with an Army recruiter. He has never had to push me. I want in because I simply want to serve. With my MBA, I'll be an E4 right away. That honor is enough for me. The rest is for my family. I want to be able to send my parents money for the first time in my life. And I know how damn proud they will be. They're already proud because I'm trying to enlist. At 42 with a bit of a record, I'm a tough sell. I have a chance, but no guarantee. I'm hoping to get some waivers approved.
@bnizzioI have always been a theory person but I wanted to learn something practical and have handy work experience so I chose 91D , shipping out in January and I hope to make it
@GhanaBoyxxxWhat if I was on blood pressure medication & not anymore bc I lost weight?
@DoctorrankedOk I’m 17 about to talk to a recruiter I want to be an infantryman. I am shipping out in January
@Ymra_2008Damn, I just turned 25 and I feel called out. I want this so badly and wanted it years ago too but it was during covid and I was unwilling to get vaccinated. I'm not exactly picky for a job but I do want a good one and if im just going to be constantly overlooked for younger candidates im not sure if I should now.
@gracebenasutti8792Since when was it cool to have depression/anxiety in High School? It was considered lame where I came from
@DavidSoOfficialIm enlisting tomorrow 🙏 im so excited but also superrr nervous
@Cocosmo7This makes me wish I was American. Your recruitment pipeline is so well thought out and designed.
@123mandalore77712:47 - George Washington's mom talked him out of joining the British navy. Interesting story there..... 😂🇺🇸
@eutytoalbaTalking to my recruiter today, watching this before I meet him
@dyliedoesarcheryHave you ever had a situation, where some kid gets dragged down to the office by his parents? I'm talking about the situation where, he didnt act enthused and got about a 3 on the practice asvab. If so, how did you handle it?
@Chris-uo5itI am going to talk to my try Recruiter on the 30 wish my luck guys 😅😅
@Brandon-l7zDon't self-diagnose should be a life tip, not just MEPS tip.
@gabriellaallocca8849Can a minor bone fracture can disqualify you???

ARE THEY STILL USING GENESIS AT MEPS????????????????????
@roninbudoI have a question can I go into delayed enlistment in the Navy? If the rate I want is unavailable at the time of MEPS visit the Recruiter I’m talking to currently is telling me I need to go to through the paperwork process now in case the job I want is not available by the time I want to go through the process
@kaseyconahan9444i love your advice! wish i had this when i enlisted-i may not have-
@walterkuzniarjr3880Don’t join straight, Outta high school
@lostammo9026Can you do a video on like an exercise routine to get in shape before boot camp? I'm currently 17 abs want to join the navy when I'm 19-20 but I'm currently over weight and don't really know what to do.
@lillyball9263I need some help with something and what my best course of action would be to get into the Military.
I was born with a heart condition called truncus arteriosis, I have needed a few surgeries for it but it has been completed surgically corrected.
I understand that I am disqualified from pretty much every job in the military without a waiver and I wanted to know what I can do that has the best chance at getting me a waiver.
I am at a very high physical level and have had no restrictions in what i can do physically in any way which I would assume counts for something.
Can anyone please tell me my best course of action here?
I think the practice ASVAB recruiters give at the office is harder than the actual ASVAB. I got a 50 on the practice and an 80 on the real one and that's without studying 😂
@strangebrew109Is there any active recruiter here for US Air Force? I really wanted to join 10 out of 10. PM ME if you read this. Thank you so much!
@ThatDadBodTvTip 1. Don’t see a recruiter
@Happy29-b4wTalked to my recruiter today 🫡
@EskingbobbyI would imaging most kids get prescribed common cold type medicine at some time...how to answer this?
@ten63kI’m a senior in high school and graduating in a mouth and a half should I meet with a recruiter now or after I graduate?
@danemillers169Thank you for your videos! I’m 28 years old with a bachelors degree and have tried to commission in the Air Force in the past, but was told I couldn’t at the time due to being on anti anxiety meds. At this time I am still on them but planning to come off. I was diagnosed with anxiety/depression but hoping I can still get in
@mpesposito6973thanks man♥ i need that for irgc♥
@b_force_IRI wanted a specific job, back in 90's. I was supposed to be going for satellite communications. Totally naive. EVERYTHING I WAS TOLD, WERE LIES.
I instead got jammed in Marine Infantry. Totally got screwed. I graduated with dual Majors, Communications and Automotive Engineering. I was supposed to be going for OCS. I did JROTC at Fishburne AND ROTC at Norwich. I had a personal recommendation from Gen. Gordan Sullivan, C.O.S U.S.ARMY, because he was my Grandfather's golfing partner.
Then, our entire company, Delta 3001, got told we were deadheaded. "Too many NCOS CURRENTLY". So, we got told "no promotions" for any of us.
They killed any thoughts of going career for all of us.
I don't regret serving, but, had I not been screwed, I most certainly would have stayed in.
I have a history of asthma am I cooked ? Can someone help me
@kingberry3075I will become a Marine. My father fought in Desert Storm(I previously was unclear) as a Marine and he tells me that he regrets it and he wants me to not join, but I feel as a young man that this is my resposibility to serve my country to become a real man.
@ChristianMatos-hb5ikI wanted to become a usmc, but I couldn't because I'm not a US citizen. im a Canadian one. And it would take me way too long to become one. So im currently talking with recruiters, trying to get into Caf, ca, i got my interview and medical in a week and a half from now.
@msdupont-b7iFor those in their early or late thirties, the current age limit is 40 to get in, even get a commission. But would agree, hurry up!
@shuvrodebbarman9828Planning on enlisting soon, been a huge help so far, binge watching these videos and taking notes.
Cheers brother, thanks for all the help. GoNavy
@Frommilitarytomillionaire what about the Army?
@THE_REAL_VELIKANHi great video on tips to meeting with any military recruiter! I'm really interested in pursuing the officer route, just taking the time to fully research the different branches. I'm wanting to get more insight on the process to become a commissioned officer?
