For the fl folks, you can do the spacing effect in patcher. First audio chain goes out like normal, second audio chain goes to your reverb plugin, then fruity limiter. This will allow you to have a self-sidechained reverb as a normal effect

I used to like dubstep and trap quite a lot in my 20s, but I feel like it was not nearly as gritty back then, and a lot easier on the ears. Now i watch videos of young producers vibing to something that literally makes my ears bleed and it makes me wonder if I'm living in a simulation
