I still love watching this video every so often, and prince still amazes me to this day with one of the greatest solos on a live tribute song with other famous musicians that he managed to just outshine from the first time he stepped out of the dark corner of the stage and took over , this video was the first time I took prince seriously, and found out he was such a great musician and not just a pop act and now I am a massive fan

I know Prince's Purple Rain riff is magnificent, but I really think this one is his greatest guitar solo performance ever.

We miss you Prince. A talent in so many ways that we even havent a clue of them all. The loss is bigger than we can imagine. He passed, for his rights to his own music. A true and above all talent in so many ways. The day he left us allot of music died too.

Saw and meet Lenny for the first time in 1989 or 1990 (Let Love Rule tour). He was going in a total different direction than everybody else at that time. All live, no hocus pokus with his performance. I was lucky to meet him before the show. As he was arriving to the small basement club in Oslo that he was playing that night. He allways took the time to meet and greet and chat a little before heading backstage to get ready for the show. We had a talk like we had known each other for years. That night was one of my best live show experinces I been to. One show is above. Number one show is the Beastie Boys tour in 1995. A pure delivery of true Hip Hop / Punk rock performance of the Beastie Boys.
