I've just watched your Normandy visit of the shore and the cemetary where the soldiers were buried.Your video stated that American soldiers were buried there and they landed on the Normandy beach. You mentioned Americans soldiers were the only military force, as a Canadian who had relatives who were part of D -day, I feel Canadian soldiers should be acknowledged as well. Canadian soldiers are a very important part of this history and battle,they gave there lives unselfishly, so your country could be free.
Canadian soldiers need to be acknowledged.

Thanks for this great video! I'm now wishing I arranged for a month long stay next May instead of 2 weeks. It didn't occur to me that I could go to Brussels for a day, so thank you for that suggestion! I'm definitely going to visit Brussels and Giverny.

I decided to come to Paris six weeks ago and Iโve been planning my trip for my daughter and I would fear in trembling. I came across your wonderful YouTube channel and and have used you as my go to Vlog for Paris experts. Thank you so much! I now feel safe and informed bringing my 15-year-old daughter to Paris for the first time. Mother daughter trip! Very excited.

Hi Antoine and Colleen!!! Great suggestions, my wife and I are planning our much-belated 25th anniversary trip to Europe this year by focusing on a trip to Paris in mid-May this year! We've decided to wrap up the trip with an overnight stay in Strasbourg. We both LOVE Riesling and Gewurtztraminer wine, and we hope to find a suitable wine experience while we're in the area. I'm brushing up my French well in advance, and we're already planning our Paris shopping as well. I'm REALLY hoping I get to make a purchase of a "perfect ping" S.T. Dupont lighter at their Rue St. Honore Boutique!

Great ideas and I thank you. You two are a treasure.
11:55 Strasbourg

I just discovered your videos. Absolutely enjoy them. We are starting our plans for a trip this Fall or next Spring. We are wanting to see the French Riviera, Paris and the Normandy area. My question: how hard is it to get a rental car for the Normandy area and is there anything we need as tourists to rent a car. Thanks in advance!

14:38 Chartres
When will you finally visit Bretagne? ๐
15:35 Giverny
16:28 Rouen
Considering a flight from Paris to London round trip is 65 Euros, I would rather take a quick flight, get there and have most of that $300 left over for food and shopping.
17:07 Lille
trip to saint michel is much cheaper if you do it yourself
17:50 Chantilly
My wife and I are planning a trip to Paris and Normandy. We are going to use what we have learned from watching all your videos to help us get around. We are doing a day at Versailles, a day in Paris to include the dinner tour or maybe just the Siene cruise, and a day at Belleau Wood. Was hoping for a day tour to there but unless you do one by May, we can figure it out. That is where my grandfather fought in WWI. My uncle was in Normandy so that is the next stop and we watched your trip there with interest. Merci Beaucoup

Please help..what train should I take to Strasbourg? I am arriving in Paris this coming Feb, and would like to do a day trip to Strasbourg (it is worth it, since itโs after Xmas?) Any suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thank you
@reggieabadsantos7133One hidden highlight for Rouen that I NEVER hear mentioned is the restaurant La Couronne near the Church of St Joan of Arc. I went there for lunch when I found the church to be closed. I didn't think it was anything special, but it look old and had french cuisine, which is what I wanted. Anyway, I found that it is the restaurant that inspired Julia Child. It is even older than Le Procope in Paris. You mentioned Monet and the Cathedrale, but what was interesting is when I saw the window he sat in when he made the painting. The building is still there. Rouen snuck up on me in a way no other place has in the world has.
@gavannoelles6389We chose Strasbourg and loved it. Easy and so much fun!
@jeannieeckelman64Fontainebleau ("eau") is 40 mins on RER R from gare de Lyon. take Bus1 to get to centre ville or the chateau. Skip thr costly tour bus and visit the town. we have excellent award winning restaurants and boutiques and a nice market. by car you can visit nearby Barbizon village if painters.
@wiredrabbit5732Just got back from Auvers sur oise and was so IMPRESSED with how much help I received from not only the workers at the stations (esp. Monceau and Denfert) in getting the ticket $10 round trip! Especially appreciated the SNCF who helped me with going back to Paris, as well as running off the sketchy guys hanging out at the train station at Auvers. Wish there had been someone inside, but this guy was so sweet! Whoever said the French are rude or cold didnโt see what I did today. I was so grateful to all the lovely French folks who helped me have a wonderful day! Would have been much more difficult without these godsends!
@tamarasmith1023Is it wise to do the hop- on hop- off bus tour? We are a group of 30 adults and children
@philomenarichards9279Perfect โค
@monicadepetro5673Sorry , but bordeaux , strasbourg , lyon is difficult in 1 day. Possible in summer but not in winter
@mittpatel47After 2 day trips to Lille in 2022, I made the decision to invest in a studio apartment there and now spend 90 days at a time, with a trip to Paris every weekend. I often get my tickets for much less than 120 euros round trip; Iโve gone for as little as 32 round trip.
@kristenkim3681I've been to these 10 destinatoons already and all i can say its worth every visit! Magnifique..beautiful places! Thanks Le frenchies for all your wonderful videosโค๐ซ๐ท
@lavieenfrance5175One of my favorite videos from you guys! Can you do a video on โwhat you can do in a monthโ? Thx!
@KellyOBrien-g2vSuperbe vidรฉo culturelle de la semaine
@sa21g22g23I travel solo and have been fortunate to have taken day trips to modt of your recommended cities! Brussels was the most difficult with several train schedules changes and not a lot of assistance at the station ๐ฎ. Aal if the cities were wonderful and well worth returning to!
@JodieLang-LHRBonjour! Bisous du Portugal!
I'm Portuguese and I found your videos when I was preparing my 1st and probably only trip to Paris.
Thank you very much for all the tips.
Being Portuguese, I know that I have some advantages compared to your experience as Americans, as my culture is similar to the French.
However, your entire experience was super important for me to feel less anxious.
Many congratulations on your courage and journey as a family.
Best wishes
The train prices are crazy. โฌ150 for a two hours journey on the train? No thanks. That's a rip off.
@lulabelle82Learning a lot from your channel. I will be travelling to France for 2 weeks with a dog. What are my options to get the full Paris,France experience with my dog?
