This report is a joke and an insult to Taiwanese cuisine. You go all the way to Taiwan to eat Cantonese food??!! Two Cantonese meals in the two days you spent there?? If I'm in Taiwan, I want Taiwanese food every single meal. I go to Hong Kong if I want Cantonese food.

So, do rich people things cut off from the hustle and bustle of the lumpen. Got it. You can change Taipei to any major metro area and do the same things for the same experience. When you get home you can tell people you ate well and hung out with movers and shakers. No thanks. You spent most of the video going fancy, fancy, lumpen, fancy, fancy, fancy, lumpen, fancy, fancy, fancy, lumpen. The "Poors" won't bite. The worst thing you have to worry about is pickpockets in the night markets.

Take in a baseball game. Get cheerleader seats. Many go to the games just to see them. Sexist? Yeah, it's kind of the point. If you go to a game the big stars are Koreans. Lee DaHye and Lee AYoung. Also local girl Lan Ching-wen. DaHye and Ching-wen are besties and on different teams. Search out Youtube Videos. There will be thousands. Literally. It's now the end of 2024. There's a chance that Korean Lee JuEun will be working in Taiwan in 2025. If you watched Youtube videos and were inundated with "That Dance" with the KIA Tigers, that's her.
Night Markets. Real ones.

Again if time, Houtong Cat Village, New Taipei (A bit of a misnomer), New Taipei wraps around Taipei.
North of Taipei, Yehliu Geopark. The rocks are very soft and the waves make real interesting formations.
Northeast of Taipei, Jiufen Old Street
Have some stinky tofu. Pepper buns. Pick a crustacean of your choice in the night market and have them broil it in front of you and pop it on a stick. Don't be squeamish while it looks like it is in agony. That's part of these people's real lives.
North of the airport up in the hills there's a ton of hot springs. Establishments range from super fancy to plain jane. Again, if you have the time.
