Sorry, but I’m in the camp that Vice City was better than San Andreas. And probably the best GTA game of all time.
Deus Ex deserves a mentioned. There’s still never been a game like it. Apart from Deus Ex invisible war. Which is. So underrated. Problem with the Deus Ex series is the original one was released for the PS2 and the invisible war was released for the Xbox. So not everybody had access to it. Also, a lot of people didn’t understand it and didn’t get past the Tarsus Academy intro. Soon as you get past that bit, you’re introduced to an open adventure. Shame.
And incredible Hulk ultimate destruction for me is still the best superhero game ever made.
Gun is also underrated. Gun was the pioneer for red dead redemption.. rockstar copied so much of that game. The one thing red dead redemption has over gun is probably the gameplay?
Castlevania N64 was a rollercoaster adventure. Awesome levels and gameplay.

Born in ‘71 and got ‘Pong’ for Christmas in ‘77. It was amazing to have a front row seat to the evolution of video games. I even got to Beta test Halo when I worked for Microsoft. Other highlights was getting Intellivoice for my Intellivision, Sega 16 bit graphics in ‘95, Doom 2, and browsing big box PC games at EB Games. But my favorite moment was walking into a Best Buy and seeing COD2 on display. LCD TVs just came out, and seeing those graphics blew me away.
