Lived most of our life in W.Portsmouth Ohio. Very different that Portsmouth. What a difference a river makes. Raised and educated both of our children there and both have college degrees. We followed our children to Central Ky in 2013. Have never regretted the decision. Our grandchildren are being raised in much better schools and safer neighborhoods. Portsmouth is so sad. We only visit at Christmas and for funerals.

You manufactured all the views of these cities. There are good, successful people in those cities. I'm from Lima and you need to re-visit the area and review some of the best things about our town. Downtown revitalization, new factories, large medical hospitals, expanding shopping areas. Yes, there are some problems, but what city doesn't have them. I don't get what you have against this state but you totally failed and exaggerated and filmed only the bad parts. Lima is NOT one of the worst places to live in Ohio. It did used to have a bad rep, but it has really changed in the last few years. Give us a break.

Roger's Ohio has a billion dollar industry as one of the largest flee markets worldwide, yet continues to thrive on drug money, probably more than any other place in the beautiful state of Ohio. God blessed this planet with Ohio, which, by the way has not one " cat eater " as proposed by the worst elected Senator JDVANCE, who has never even once visited my hometown of East Palestine Ohio where the worst train derailment in history happened over 2 years ago. Mike Dewine was on the scene immediately followed closely by Sherrod Brown to provide shelter, drinkable water, food, and clothes. My hometown has been suffering every single day with constant nosebleeds, rashes, upper respiratory issues, and CANCER. The wildlife is dead or dying, the fish are dead, and yet JDVANCE has never once even been involved in the resurrection of My hometown, where my mother and father met and were married. My sisters, my brothers, my still very beautiful 87 year old mom was born and raised, my aunts, uncles, cousins and friends have been smelling toxic fumes every single minute of every single day. JDVANCE IS NOT FIT TO RUN FOR ANY GOVERNMENT OFFICE. HE HAS NEGLECTED MY HOMETOWN CONSTANTLY FROM DAY ONE. Personally, I feel that JDVANCE should be judge ordered to move his wife and children to MY HOMETOWN of East Palestine Ohio.

I lived in ohio in the 60,s outskirts of Cleveland, jobs everywhere. Sure has changed a lot. All my kin folks moved from there, biggest part of them..

Grew up in SW Ohio. All states have the same issues as the places you listed. Overall, it is not a bad state and the people are nicer than the other states I have lived in. Now in East TN and nowhere near as kind as Ohioans.

You should've gotten video of Ashtabula, I mean, Trashtabula Square. The country in Bula is beautiful, tho. If you're ever in town again, you should stop by my neck of the woods. Wife and I have a beautiful ravine that encompasses our property. Absolutely stunning! The newer city leadership is split between trying to clean up the area and providing more safe spaces for snowflakes and destitute. So, for every step forward, we're having to take 10 steps backward to be able to get to the roots of the problems so they CAN be fixed. Unfortunately, it's taking it's toll. At least the got rid of all the hookers and drug dealers occupying the Square. Maybe 4 or 5 vagrants as opposed to an entire city block being occupied like it was 15-20 years ago.
