It will be a great day to see the big 3 american automakers go belly up and be replaced by far better companies from China and elsewhere. @Moofassa74I'm an electrical engineer and I can safely say that unless battery technology improves significantly then EV owners have an expensive problem.... also the environmental benefits of having an EV are absolute BS ... EV battery chemical refineries are the backbone of electric vehicle (EV) battery production. While vital for energy density, their chemical operations pose severe environmental and health impacts, demanding rigorous control, advanced wastewater management, and circular recycling economies.... THESE DON'T HAPPEN IN CHINA WHERE THE MAJORITY OF THEM ARE MADE.... YOU ARE KILLING THE PLANET.... the EV market in the U.K is being propped up by massive discounts on new EV's in order to meet government quotas and a huge glut of ex company EV's coming onto the market but this won't last forever... the bottom will fall out of this market in the nest few years... and that is just an economic fact.... I wish you every luck with your EV though may it give you years of cheap travel...

After I mentioned the Chinese EV with better quality, higher standard, much cheaper pricing to a middle-age white Canadian, he was stunned. It was not surprising since the Chinese EV was sold all over the world, there were only two countries in the world like the US and Canada not selling them. Canada is going to import the cheaper, lesser quality Chinese EV but they are still very impressive.
