Do not take a rental, do not take taxi/uber. Use public transport (buss, train, and underground). And in the center of the city, walk. Most of the city is the pretty walkable with reasonably short distances.
Why does all american youtube tour guides recommend uber in European cities?

The best way to see the Duomo is to book a guided tour. You'll skip any queues and learn a lot more.

You don't need to take Ubers, Milan has one of the best integrated public transport systems in the world. A 24 hour ticket will give you unlimited metro, bus and tram transport for €7.60
A 72 hour ticket is even better value at €13. Ticket machines are very easy to operate in all languages. Or you can use contactless payment.
Announcements are in Italian and English.
Google maps, Citymapper or the Milan transport app will all guide you and tell you which form of transport to take to get anywhere..

You didn’t see Da Vinci’s Last Supper!

There is no need to spend money with an Uber car. Milan is full of efficient and inexpensive public transport. It's more efficient use PT than using a car in Milan.

you are not pronouncing Duomo correct. It is not Do-Mo, but Duo-mo

@Jimbo54
@

you don't need to use Ubers, just use existing Milan public transport. I have lived in Milan for over 15 years, and it has one of the best public transport systems in Europe. Save your money by not using Ubers.
