OK. It’s a little confusing. For example: “We’ve lived in Budapest for four years.” implies likely permanent action. In contrast, “We’ve been living in Budapest since 2017.” implies temporary action. Then we come to the quiz section where the correct answer was “I’ve been studying English for…” with further explanation that implied likely permanent action that will continue in the future. Why then shouldn’t we choose “I’ve studied English…”?
