I just did a search on a subject that i was hoping to get a Creaters opinion on, it showed nothing but news stations even on the shorts. Thrn it started looping the same vids over and over. As if theyre was only few clips on deportations.

I search for travel videos or national geographic videos and instead I get absolutely no videos just shorts and half a scroll later it’s absolutely about completely different stuff

There have been A LOT OF youtube changes that have hindered the user while enhancing the controller.
Anybody that knew youtube 10 years ago may know what I"m talking about. Youtube sucks in so many ways.
It's exactly where they want it to be since day 1.

This is freshly relevant in 2026, with the removal of the “Sort by Upload Date” functionality which I was using to get around all the irrelevant results. 😢

I can't find Jack $h1t when using the search function.
It's all irrelevant trash after a few scrolls that has little to nothing to do with the search.
It just devolves it nonsense the further you go.
Good luck finding specific old meme because all you will find is rand wierd junk that has nothing to do with what your looking for.

As a YouTube user the site has gotten worse these past 5 years before 2020 YouTube used to be about content creators and YouTubers but not anymore I remember pre covid YouTube was only a site where you can watch your favorite YouTubers but now YouTube recommends me stiff I don’t even want to watch either we tell google to go back to the original YouTube search engine or else we’ll boycott the company don’t forget that the user is more important than the company itself
