How does YouTube know that I should go to sleep? It's 2am in the morning and this video popped up..... the universe is telling me something. And its looking out for me...that's a great feeling that something is looking out for me.

I miss her so much man

When I would drive down highway 80 my mind would drift to when I was a boy. That time I would wrap my little hand around my mother’s long raven colored curly hair. The smell of her hair would change day to day. One day it’s lilacs. The other day lavender with a hint of honey. My nose told me it was the latter. I would then sit back in the back seat of a four door banana yellow 1974 fiat. One of dad’s favorite groups Shalamar’s with their song, “Help Me” playing through the cassette deck while driving down the highway back to Oakland. I then look out my passenger window at the the setting sun which gave a vibrant maroon color mixed with electric blue. Scattered clouds would appear as silhouettes in the sky. I would then sit back and feel absolute comfort and content. I was alive and felt loved and the whole time thinking this moment would last forever. I would look forward to what I was going to do when I got home. Play my Atari again? My legos? Watch my cartoons on vhs?

I had no idea that in the years ahead I will end up like this. My parents gone. Just me and my brother driving down that same beautiful maroon filled sky that took me subconsciously to that moment in time. A time of when I knew what is was like to be a child that was loved.

I'm so tired of trying for something. I no longer see the point in doing anything for myself and my future. My room has become a prison in which I have imprisoned myself. It feels like I'm rotting alive. I'm sorry if I can't handle it.
