Jimmy Lee was a guitarist who was a member of the Village People's backing band playing on all their hit songs..he also knew The Blenders (Frankie Beverly's first band in Philadelphia) Before Maze Frankie started The Blenders in 1963 (Philadelphia) (which later became Frankie Beverly and the Butlers). It was the first group with which he recorded. In 1967, he cut "If That's What You Wanted", which became a Northern soul standard. The group caught the attention of record producer Kenny Gamble, who eventually released their recordings. Band Members were: Frankie Beverly, Jack "Sonny" Nicholson, Joe Collins, John H Fitch Jr, and Talmadge Conway....(Cool Facts "Shame" is the debut single by American singer Evelyn "Champagne" King, written by John H.
