I wrote a comment on this song a while ago from a different account saying this song would some day save my life. I can't remember the login for that account or I would've updated it, but this is the update. While this song in particular hasn't had a moment itself that has saved my life, it's songs exactly like this that have kept me going through the years to the point where I'm now engaged and ready to take on the world with my soulmate even though we live in different countries and things are very hard sometimes. There's nothing I can do to properly thank these artists who help me in tremendous ways, but I just want anyone seeing this to know that life has many ups and downs and things become clearer if you just see them through. Keep listening to this music and keep powering through whatever you're dealing with in life and know it'll all fall into place soon. I'm a man, a son, a father... And unfortunately now a survivor of a pretty brutal domestic violence situation. I was a damn good musician riding a budding career wave with a home functioning studio surrounded by the most loving kids single dad could ask for. Then I'm 2022 "she" came into my life and she's systematically destroyed it we lost our home the beatings the verbal assaults and the violence became so great let my son eventually left in shortly thereafter I had to send my daughter away all of my friends eventually disappeared from my life till I was left with no one. We eventually lost our place to stay(couch surfing) and we're living in our car. I went from writing music for a living to working at a convenience store for barley over minimum wage and then she took the car and with it the last remaining remnants of the life I'd had and disappeared. She left me in the side of the road next to a WinCo. I'm now living alone in a homeless shelter. The man I'm this video you see sitting on the bridge about to jump is literally me every day since. And it's only the loving support of my children and this band, these dudes from New Zealand whom I've never met and have no idea who the hell I am wrapping their arms around me and pulling me back from the ledge that keep me here putting one for in front of the other fighting to live. I wanted my son so badly to share the love I have for this band and their music that I bought my son the vinyl version of the light house and these guys so graciously took the time to autograph it! This band is important! Their music saves lives!!! Thank you WBW and thank you to anyone who takes the time to read this. As long as there's air in my lungs in blood in my veins I am not out of the fight...

This song hits different when you've been through a Near Death Experience recently. I had one almost 2 months ago, it was a huge test on my relationship, was scared that it would break us up, but we made it through. Now going to get married next year. Particularly the first scenario. Makes me emotional to watch the first scene now. It hits in a different way than it did before.
