no. I got back in the game after 5-10 years and EVERYONE is a super elite sweatbag who knows every single tank and map inside out. Every hill, whether they get spotted, where the people are, they all coordinate perfectly. If you don't have a PERFECT internet connection, you die because you have to constantly move forward/back meaning one lag spike will send you flying out in the open. Nobody makes any mistakes, there's no free kills. I used to easily do 3k damage 10 years ago, now I do 0-200. It was only fun againt tier 1-2 ai bots. Against players is an absolute nightmare. Not fun.

when they nerfed my hellcat years ago and reduced reverse speed 50% so i got shot when getting back into cover i quit☹

game sucks more and more , still too many OP tanks and any tank that could push against that still get nerved, matchmaking sucks, rng breaks game even more even on point blank range u prolly miss the shot by 50%, cheaters still have free range, the few hunderds that getting banned is like a drop on a hot stove, most are in top clans aswell, while there are plenty solutions to bann any cheating but WG refuses it , or even build in some mods standard in game and bann any other mod , game went down hill when EU servers got openend for all from RU servers, and the introduction of wheeled vehicles, you can play all day doing ur dmg and still loose everygame as they all braindead or camp not doing the task they supposed to do in the tank they using , the new tiered lvled rewards from event boxes is a total scam aswell to to make you spend more just to have a minimal chance in getting a tank

cant wait from the german WOT clone to be released it looks more promising more fair and much better balanced already even in the beta version that WG ever was and will be

Havent played for few years, im pretty strong player my stats always been very high. Downloaded the game last night. Well the first thing i noticed is how extremely accurate ppl shooting me no matter even if im in the bush hidden. I said to my self that dosnt make much sense except hacks. Well guess what .. took me 5 minutes to find 2 hacks and download them. The Autoaim shoot perfect the weak spot without even zoom in the mouse lol. Now i can play like any others and it seems thousands of ppl using them. Does it worth playing like that ? No it dosnt. Im not playing this game like that

This is an excellent game to play, you can progress much faster nowadays. Best tank game there is, the others do not match up to it.
Also EVERY SINGLE GAME OUT THERE IS "P2W". Some people need to get their heads out of their asses!

The game has 10 tiers that don't make sense to exist.

Up to tier 3 there is almost no armor except for a few vehicles and it is a very equal type of game, then with the inclusion of armour, the game begins to show its problems. The module system is antiquated, having to gain experience to unlock them when you face players already at full power is practically making them a target, furthermore for being a cooperative pvp game, the one who does damage gets more points, the objectives are superfluous and the Armor is pure rng unless you have the right medium that you're sure angled in a certain way is impenetrable. Same thing when you fire, hit and do damage, all rng. The skill is limited to knowledge of vehicles and maps, where each tier has its own, so this also makes the various tiers pointless to exist.

People overestimate the title by saying it has "complex mechanics", gentlemen, play really complex games where you have to press 10 keys in less than 1 second and set the camera speed to 10x, you have to know every single champion and the abilities he brings and that you have no "tier" that limits the possibility of finding them, then let's talk about "complexity" again.

Luckily they removed the crew experience, people said it wasn't p2w and then if you talked to them about playing with the crew at 50%, they trembled and felt faint.

Save your money. Sardine can maps, gold spam that makes armor use near irrelevant for the average player, sure the top players can make it work but most players are not there. Blow out after blow out games at times your team just melts. Highly aggressive monetization with P2W premiums, looking at you BZ176 and not jealous as I have it. Can't buy it as it so far has only been available to players that got it in Christmas Loot boxes, but something more OP will get put out as before this it was the Defender, etc. Christmas Loot boxes, then 3 months later more loot boxes, and wait....there's more. if you like gambling for a tank as most seem too, yes I know and I only get for the gold on X-mas but again the average player. And no cross region play. Have a friend outside of the EU, Asia, or NA well that's a separate account they, or you, have to create to play together and no your stuff from one region doesn't also show up on the other region.

While you still can have fun in the game in 2025, starting new is a real pain. Especially if you dont want to or can not spend money on it.

To be fair long time warships player here, recently I’ve gotten back into tanks an you are 100% right the pacing an timing of the matches in this game feel a lot better to the average low attention span player including myself in that. My issue is the having to buy guns for tech tree tanks were in warships you don’t give the players the guns for the satisfaction of achieving the next tank in the line war gaming you can have everything else for us to progress just give us the guns for the sanity of the grind. Unpopular rant 😅

Got into this game when we were all stuck at home in 2020. It’s a beautiful game, mostly fun and often frustrating. People who whine about PTW are generally slightly below average players who use that as an excuse for their inability to learn the very complex game mechanics. Good players can make pretty much any tank work and dominate in the more overpowered tanks. After almost 5 years I still log in for at least a few battles nearly every day.

Play The frist 5-20 games and you will understand why this game sucks, and the more you do, the more see all the "micro" transactions wich this game is plagged.
Graphically looks excelent, but all the rest is garbage, P2W in a level that u cant afford.
Extreme Frustrating: The game have a ridiculous 25% RNG system in 3 important factors, damage, penetration and dispersion.
Bots and Game Rigging: In Every game you play, because at last 30% of your team are bots or Riggers wich intectionally lose to give the enemy team a victory.
Easy to play Extreme Difucult to Master: in fact u CANT master the game, u cant be a good player withour payng for the best tank in the meta, or at last have a decent chance win.
LootBoxPlage: in this game u must gamble to get the new content, 90% of the new content is in a lootbox.
Mutiple Fraud and scamm situations: just look in youtube for "scamms" and "fraud", a simple example is the "Trading Caravan" and the most recent "Black Market 2025".
After 9 Years playng this game i can say:
i agree with @zack_ripper8865, he says, "unbalance as f*ck" and WarGaming DOES NOT CARE about his players, and the only thing they want is your money, they removed the forums, the hability to chat with the enemy, they also take at last 6 months to fix an unbalanced tank in the game.
This game is Rusian Made, i have nothing against them but the rusian server is Way more funn than the NA/EU, looks like the good game devs and creators still in the rusian version and the NA/EU version is just a bunch of idiots looking for money.
The more you play, the more things you will see about what is going on in this game.
Just watch anny streamer in YouTube or Twitch, do you see them happy? most of them RARELY have funn, just watch theyr faces.
