So now if we can't even sideload apps on Android and what's the point of having an Android now because now they're going to become like apple completely lock it down just like Apple and I just recently upgraded to the Galaxy s26 ultra and I do like side loading apps I'm very upset about this news

@JoeStrabI tried getting Mobiflix on my Google Android TV (had it installed & working fine since 3 months ago - Now I just get a code 403 and it says FORBIDDEN ON DOWNLOADER) I don't think it's ever coming back.
The Vidius app only loads on my phone & won't cast to the tv - big pain in the rear-end to watch with those constant pop-up ads.
I managed to find another app but it's becoming difficult because all my installed movie apps have been taken down, it's not a good thing.
