Working for Elon Musk: Ex-Employees Reveal His Management Strategy | WSJ
Video Overview & Insights
“He has never said this, but I’ve watched it. You have 30 seconds to make your point.”
Musk needs to be reinvented with empathy.......to humanity. New Mexico we has some most outstanding scientists in
the world. To me Musk has a scrambled egg brain. Took physics in college....no fan of Musk. He mimics other people
achievements.....he is no Einstein or Tesla or Newton.
What Elon Musk has been doing at Twitter since he took over the company isn’t new – he’s used the same management strategies when he took over Tesla and when he founded SpaceX.
The Wall Street Journal spoke with three former employees to better understand Musk’s management playbook.
Tyrant👿. Deserving of the people's second amendment. ASAP !

Everyone forgets that Elon motivation in money and power, nothing else. Exploiting people, is part of the path... 🤦♂️

Elon buying Twitter, was pure hubris. That company didn't make any profit. He did it for one purpose only. Free speech. After doing a podcast with Joe Rogan. Elon realised how wokeness - for lack of a better word - undermined the 1st amendement rights of the people.
@Artist28MuseElon sould've bought a couple start ups. And began his own twitter, instead. Attacking his bigger blue bird bird competetor by the throat, like a cheetah.
@Artist28MuseFunded by our retirement now the ipo space x is. Not cool
@brendansullivan4872Whats wrong in being competitive, of you got to make stuff that isn't made you have to do things that isn't done. And moreover I always think that major big companies over hire atleast 25 of workforce is not required.
Coming in and taking the right decision takes gut and clarity very few have it's not about destroying but about making something bigger and structurally sustainable.
People who think there is not life after work should first focus on doing work properly rather than complain, if you want good bucks, holidays and a retirement plan you work otherwise go live in a ranch somewhere you know country life no need to do hardcore work at all
30 seconds to make your point? Elon himself can’t even form a coherent sentence in 30 seconds. 😂
@thomas_xsgIf you don’t want to work for Elon, you can look for a job elsewhere, nothing wrong with Elon’s work ethics. We need 1,000,000,000 more Elons.
@manuelrendon18The hate for billionaires is sick 😂,
@Existential_7Made by Musk-Nerds. 😂
@MiMMiMMiMMiMThere are labor laws that require 12 hour breaks.
A lot of what Musk says is said to attract attention.
Expecting employees to work 80-100 hrs a week, constantly, would be fair only if their salary on the market is (eg) 250k and you give them 500k. That should be the basis , but I strongly doubt it happened, and even with that, people can’t sustain 100hrs for too long. If salaries were in line or slightly above market, then the mission and all the rest of bla bla bla is all BS and factually the only thing that’s happening is that the company is heavily exploiting employees to get richer
@HBweisseImagine working yourself to death to make this idiot richer 😂
@bdiamond545Musk is gonna love me bruh I should get hired there . I work 20hrs 7 days a week
@TheGamer101-g7pI am the surrogate that birthed and breastfed Elon, or big EL, all the way into early adulthood. Always a highly an aggressive suckler, these accounts are all too familiar.
@jimcameron9848It’s a little unrealistic that someone has $55 million to put into a business but resorts to „couchsurfing“ - the stories these people tell themselves to appear admirable are a bit too woo woo
@janinajochim1843elon is smart if u are work as employee for some one that means your are slave
@Steve_ryulookas like it didnt work for twitter
@kennykawa52The SOAB is it bad manager. You can't ask your entire workforce to work 80 hour weeks hello. He just needed to hire more people. He doesn't play well with others.
@jonnash5196I just dont believe battery powered vehicles will be practical in colder climates, then theres the issue and expense of having a heated garage and a charger installed, you pretty much require a gas vehicle for cold weather, how many can even afford a home let alone one with a heated garage. ?
@PeterWilliamson-e9wWe need to stop idolizing tech bros. Period.
@SrchiuziUltra hardcore at TESLA? Then China ate his lunch. LOL
@samwho1731This is old hat, getting employees to work 80/100 hour weeks with no overtime. I did it for Airbus Space and McLaren. Ambitious young people will keep falling for this until at age 65 they are left with a modest house , a broken marriage, children who won’t talk to you, ruined health, and a worthless pension. The hardcore disappears when you become seriously ill. Ambitious people will keep falling for this.
@DavidSkertchlyPeople are not animals...if he wants to work more let him do it. But other people do not deserve this kind of behavior for all the money of the world
@kgerakopoulosMusk is a spoiled rich meglomaic monster, burning everybody around him whilst continuously failing his business. Man will not go to Mars. Its a con, a financial con.
@patrickbrennan6315Here we are in 2026 and Elon Musk's X (formerly Twitter) is not profitable on a net income basis. A major driver of the unprofitability is the $12.5 billion in acquisition debt saddled onto the company during Musk’s 2022 takeover. This debt creates an estimated $1.2 billion in annual interest payments that eat up most of the company’s operating cash flow. Do people really want to invest $1.75 trillion is SpaceX?
@Apollo809Musk is good news and no one is perfect but hopefully he will keep a lid on things.
@masterwatchI can never imagine Elon working 100 hours a week.
@JB-ej2qyHe is too much.
@wolfsisters3043Elon has even admitted its not about the money it’s about the power and he really don’t like being told no.
@DelMitchell-k3nYou'll only kill yourself working like that. It's insane and the quality of work inevitably suffers.
@nothingtoseehere-v7eWill Putin owns Elon Musk too you don't only own Trump he owns Musk too Putin's a very powerful man if we look at him in the end of the day kind of scary one man can own that many that just want money and he snaps and they say yes master and jump from their knees to their feet
@lizmaeguinnestep8979Not good Elon: work with robots: Humans need a good routine to live a good long life❤
@jerryryan5760trash
@fakapikopikomardito980Elon has a brilliant mind despite autism. He is a one off model of God's handiwork. Where would the world be today with out Eddison and light bulbs etc. Where else would it all have come from? Prayer changes thngs! We, and especially, those involved witb him, should oray for him - fervently!
@iriswhite1692That is what a psychopath runs a business.
@kihyunm6375😢
@yavonmiller8064You gave me humiliation, after I helped to imagine the world online for you, when I said you were probably to be replaced... you put 11 service guards, where is the strategy ? Make him go almost dead and there is the payment?

@almaisaksHey Elon ....FAUUUWWWKKK YOUUUU
@JohnTech725Mr RTO (Return to Office), Elon Musk, was absent from his main revenue source, Tesla, when he was helping Donald Trump win the White House. I would neither buy anything from Elon Musk nor work for Elon Musk. I really hope Slate EV vehicles put Tesla out of business because there just isn't enough rich American's that can afford Tesla's LEVs (Luxury Electric Vehicles). Plus, no work/life balance working for Elon Musk.
@rcusa4863I just saw a video about Musk's plans with Mars on another channel 🤔
https://youtu.be/JUn27QiWPr8?si=gVRiBibHVZozs0Gm
The simple thing-His very determination in life is mirrored to the employees as there is a single expectation that is: I have done it, you are able to do it too
@addictionary_chroniclesGovernment subsidies how much? Used for what?
@greengo-sv2hi😅YouTube recommended this to me after the “billionaires’ fight”. Trump vs Musk.
