Winning Kentucky Derby Jockey Jose Ortiz on TDN Writers' Room Overtime

@spurkeyedRenegade had the opportunity to win that race and he got chased down. The bumping at the start was minor. Golden Tempo was the better horse.

@mike2565How he studied for this race is really fascinating. Of course it made sense. Beyond that, Jose seems to be a genuinely nice person.
Since Renegade was at an unfair disadvantage because of starting from the one hole and he was beaten by only a head, he may be the better horse. (I really like Golden Tempo.)
I am most relieved that this chaotic race is over for all of the runners and that Great White is fine after his pre race flip.
In my opinion Renegade made a great race because in the gate it was very dificult for the horse.

The tracks who partner with computer groups are parasites who bet against their own customers.they take your money.on derby day exactas that where paying 120 one second before the gate opened paid 54. And doubles that where paying 60 end up paying 27. The diference went to the computer groups and the tracks that partner with them like stronarch (gulftream) and Nyra .these parasites are taking money from their customers.
