15:16 I DON'T recommend getting a 144hz monitor. First find one somewhere, ask a friend, idk, see if you even see the difference between 144 and 60. I don't personally, which is a shame since I got a 144hz monitor. All that did for me is make me always check the fps counter and hate it when it's below 120
Display: LG 48GQ900-B 48” Ultragear // https://amzn.to/44G43Gp
For audio output, you need the following:
You probably had the dopest slide shows in school
Headphones: Beyerdynamic DT 1990 // https://amzn.to/3PW3Sme
DAC: Toppins D10s Mini // https://amzn.to/3PVc06I
AMP: S.M.S.L SH-9 // https://amzn.to/3pCaVGd
NOTE: You might have to buy additional cables to connect
For audio input, you need the following:
Microphone: Shure SM7B // https://amzn.to/3NPTRnT
bro en la traducción automática parese que dises que te fueron infiel y que lo aceptaste 39:25
Pre-AMP for the Microphone: Elgato XLR // https://amzn.to/3PRjE1E
NOTE: You most definitely need to buy a XLR cable to connect the two.
Always remember, the enemy can't read your mind if you have no clue what you're doing. Be unpredictable. In star wars, special force users would carry wierd lightsabers that had irregular quirks and needed unusual combat styles because it was unpredictable. If you fight someone with a curved spinning double-sided blade and you've only fought normal blades, you have no idea how to defend against that thing. Im a total noob at a lot of games and yet ive managed to beat people with 10k hours all because instead of doing the thing everyone else does, i do my own thing.
To highlight why the Elgato XLR: Elgato has a software called Elgato Wave which is really nice and friendly to use for audio mixing and running live effects on your microphone input (E.g Noice cancel, EQ, Compressing) which makes streaming and everything a lot easier.
Setting up the Headphone, DAC, AMP, Microphone and Pre-AMP:
then well become a real soldier
1. Shure SM7B → XLR cable → Elgato Wave XLR:
Connect the SM7B microphone to the Elgato Wave XLR using an XLR cable. The Elgato Wave XLR is an audio interface with a built-in preamp designed for XLR microphones like the SM7B.
2. Elgato Wave XLR Line-Level Output → Topping D10s Mini:
Connect the line-level output of the Elgato Wave XLR to the line-level input of the Topping D10s Mini using appropriate cables. This will allow the D10s Mini to receive the analog audio signal from the Elgato interface.

really speakin to the tf2 players with this one
ahem FREE 2 PLAYS HAVE COMMS AGAIN! THEY HAVE HAD IT FOR LIKE A YEAR NOW! WE CAN DO STUFF MY FELLOW BROKE BOIS!
3. Topping D10s Mini → S.M.S.L SH-9:
Connect the Topping D10s Mini to the S.M.S.L SH-9 using an RCA interconnect cable. The D10s Mini will serve as the DAC, converting the analog audio signal from the Elgato interface to a digital signal that the SH-9 can process.
4. S.M.S.L SH-9 → Beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro:
Connect the Beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro headphones to the output of the S.M.S.L SH-9. The SH-9 will amplify the audio signal and drive your headphones.
Hope this spares you some headaches! :]

Personally, a keyboard with keypad is really helpful in the game i play comp in (warthunder) due to the ammount of keybinds
⤷ Kapitein Eenbeen
⤷ Mutual Dread
I play squadron battles (one of the comp types in warthunder) with 220-340ms ping and still do better than people with a 5090, -4g mouse and 32ms ping, a lot of the time it straight up is just skill and practice

Honestly 60 fps is fine. Idk why people need 240 fps. I never see much a difference between the 2 anyway

Edit 1: 28:15 I have a pillow barely holding on to the back of my chair but combineing that with a good cushon and a actual posture person its really comfy
Edit 2: i have taken 2 things from this video and they are
1) get new headphones (was planning to do this anyway)
2) move my mousemat as far as i can to the right
I am a wired mouse user until I die 🐺
Mainly because i’m lowkey an idiot and simply could NOT remember to recharge or change the batteries in a wireless one
21:55 well, this aged well ! There are already 4k 240 Hz 32 inch Oleds just 2 years after this video was made. The monitor industry definitely moved quite faster than what was anticipated.
@vampe777i still come back to this video once in a while. i love this.
@niixheeNot being a console player 😢
@user-Elite-173it's not the headphones that have a dac built in, it's your output device (if it's digital). otherwise analogue audio sources wouldn't work with headphones. headphones (or the drivers in those or speakers) are way simpler than people think, it's pretty much just a current going straight to the driver, that's why turntables and the tape players can have little to none electronics, cuz the vibrations from the pickup cartridge (the needle) are already the right frequency turned straight into electricity, and the magnetic tape has the same frequency electric charges on it (i'm simplifying cuz vinyls don't hold bass well which means it's recorded with less of it and it's re-added with kinda "eq" but that's so they can hold more music per side thanks to narrower grooves)
@cptspan1shwhat abot 2 years later, 560hz, 1440p and oled?
@ScarFN_69I literally have a weighted mouse
