Business Insider got exclusive access to see how the US Army's Germany-based 2nd Cavalry Regiment is training for a possible war with Russia. A group of soldiers known as OPFOR pretends to be the enemy, practicing the same style of trench warfare that has become commonplace in the Russia-Ukraine war. An Army platoon must traverse mountainous terrain before finding the OPFOR's trench and attacking it.

This is all wrong. There's way too many of them bunched up. In Ukraine it's all about small team action. More than 4 guys in an element only results in a juicy targer.

This is US on US, if the Ukrainians were challenging them, they would make a laughing stock of them, just like they did when they did with other NATO forces and the NATO forces asked if the Ukranians could stop using the modern tactics so they could do better.

The reason we're studying Russian tactics is that this is the closest we've seen into what modern warfare will look like with a near-peer enemy. No matter who we go to war with, it will be a war fought in trenches with drones.

Great spacing- most of Hegseth’s WAR FIGHTERS will get killed or wounded by a single FPV while in that trench. The wounded will then get picked off by drone dropped grenades.

guys cant read a f map and end up next to the enemy without knowing it.
very minimal communication with the other units.
Preparing for an attack next to a road with no cover and there is like 12 guys sitting within 1 meter of each other.
No clear commands or instructions for the attack and everybody starts running towards the enemy fortified positions trough an open field when there is clearly cover on both sides that they could use to their advantage .In real life combat that open field is a suicide, free shots for the enemy, and on top of that its usually mined.
on the second try there is like 4-5 guys behind a small bush half a meter inbetween them. Then they attack crawling towards the trench line again with 4 people right next to each other with a machine gun nest right infront of their faces. Then they enter a trench all from the same place, and are again too close to each other, 1 grenade and you have a whole unit out.
They are moving inside the trench with their heads above the trech line, in a straight line, no grenades before peeking corners. That is just outright horrible.
in reality they would have been blown to pieces already by drones or artillery

Attack Russia from Ukraine, create more chaos blame NATO and activate Article 5 “an attack on one is an attack on all”. Since America is part of Nato, they can deliberately sabotage Europe into joining the war with Russia and then force them to join the war in Iran!

What a shame that the US isn’t a reliable NATO partner nowadays - now they are threatening to invade NATO partners themselves. These training grounds will be off limits if that ever happens. I never…would have thought that, fighting together with US troops myself. Such amazing and brave people, but such a vile leadership in Washington..
