And #5 The “K” shaped economic recovery has the rich wanting to invest in real estate and diversify their portfolio. With low interest rates it’s still a steal.

@jimvye9113With the recent liberal tax on capital gains...all the rich people will park the money into real estate. Good job Biden.
@hangenderCommodities on the rise. Buy silver
@Bigboobslover777Why is dogecoin rising? There you go.
@jake4024The fed is the factor overpricing homes to make people feel rich and spend.
@garyseeseverything8615So... What's the solution? Housing is increasingly becoming a luxury item, even though a roof over one's head is a basic human right.
@Celis.C#1 Interest rates. Other factors are determined by interest rates. If interest rates were 8% the story would change completely.

1. Domestic supply will never satisfy global demand. Not a supply issue.
2. Distorting prices has negative downstream effects: delayed family formation, shrinking population, increased reliance on immigration, eroding tax base, etc.
3. If significant portions of your country’s land belong to non-citizens and those with stronger ties to another country, then to which country does that land really belong? Not legally, but rather ideologically and strategically.
Or the fact that the stimulus made all the rich people within Wall Street richer and they are rotating the money into housing with full cash offers and no walk-throughs.
@RixRunItIn about 6 months it's going to be all gone again. Material costs are up 100% to 150% over the last year. Building will soon stop.
@jaya9753you guys have a obsession with the word "surging"
@bobe2933Good luck millennials. Thank you Federal Reserve for making housing even more unaffordable.
